Just beside the better known but very overcrowded Pho Lien this is a real find in Côte des Neiges for savoury Vietnamese food. A small family run restaurant but super friendly with many Asian customers. We agree that it does taste like old Vietnam. Rolls are super and the vermicelli dishes quite ample for dinner. Owner says she will have... More

We came to this restaurant after the hospital visit. We wanted to go to pho lien but it's closed on Tuesday. I ordered a medium pho and when I saw the portion, I thought it was a kids meal and the taste was not authentic at all. My husband ordered a beef lemongrass with vermicelli lunch set and it was... I cant write too much but we had this yesterday for delivery lunch to our work. All three of us had the same thing;l chiCken soup, veggies, egg noodles. Their hot sauce is a little sweet so i suggest adding some of your own sirachi. Also had the fried spring rolls....they were wayyyyyy better than typical spring rolls. This will... More

I work near this restaurant and I had never tried it since it is a little tucked away on CDN. I loved the food at this Vietnamese restaurant. Since we were a little undecided, the owner chose a menu for us that included a shrimp appetizer, a tamarind soup, basil beef and glazed fished (everything served wit rice). Everything was... More

This is a quaint little restaurant found below Pho Lien and Talay Thai that we stumbled across last Saturday. It looks like it can handle maximum 25 people but there is a room at the back that could hold another 25 more. We were served by the owner who was patient, friendly and very informative regarding the various dishes we... More

My friend and I split two Table d’Hotes. As she doesn’t like spicy food, we ordered mild dishes. They were good, but too mild for me (not the restaurant’s fault). We had shrimp in a ginger sauce, and some kind of chicken with vegetables (not sure which item it was on the menu...see below). It was all very good. I... More

Finally. A taste. of authentic Asian food! 4 years ago I travelled all over south Asia and finally, only now, have I found something that tasted like I was there again. This was it. Amazing food, amazing service, really nice staff. GO! We got the crepe (this crispy rice flour tasting egg omelet filled with chicken (or pork?), bean sprouts... More

My wife and I took a risk on this charming little restaurant on Cote de Neige and it paid off "big time". We let the server choose our meal. We had a kind of chicken soup but this had the most tender chicken and shrimps I ever had (Even in Bangkok). The second dish was a beef and was also... More

I ordered delivery from this place at 6:30 PM and my meal did not arrive until over 3 hours later at 9:45 PM. I was informed that the delivery would only take 45 minutes so I was prepared for that wait. After an hour and a half, I called the restaurant and asked what was up and they told me... More

Their soup noodles are good but it's not hard to find decent Vietnamese noodle places. However, their kidney bean tapioca coconut drinks are what made us stopping by La Saigonaise every time we come to Montreal. Must try!
