This is a very classy restaurant, not the kind to make you feel bad for being somewhat underdressed, but you can tell by the quality and efficiency of service, the deep knowledge of every member of the staff regarding the food, wine, beer, drinks, culture...More

Being in Montreal, I couldn't pass up on a bit of French style fine dining. Togue! featured in numerous recommendations, and I have to say they weren't wrong. First of all, the service is impeccable, almost a little too deferential for a down to Earth...More

The service level was excellent, as expected. Cocktails were unique and tasty. Wine list was extensive. Unfortunately, I found the cuisine to be over salted and lacking complex flavour experiences. Be prepared for a several hundred dollar bill.

Toqué is not a restaurant that offers a unique experience. Where else can one be treated to exquisitely fresh and local food that is lovingly and creatively prepared? Where else can one obtain a mini-wine course from a young, modest but engaging and knowledgeable sommelier?...More

My first experience with Toque was years ago at their St. Denis location. Recently, I decided to spoil myself during the MTL A Table festival and tried their current location on Place Jean Paul Riopelle. I was not disappointed. The service was top quality and...More

Description
---16 years ago Toque! opened featuring local produce: a showcase for Quebec's terroir and its suppliers. The ongoing contributions of these artisans is no less important today. We have them to thank for foie gras de canard or salicornia; lamb of heirloom vegetables; seafood or fine herbs. These tireless farmers, foragers and fishermen inspire Toque!'s cuisine, on which they bestow tastes, textures and natural aromas and unparalleled freshness.
