Toqué is not a restaurant that offers a unique experience. Where else can one be treated to exquisitely fresh and local food that is lovingly and creatively prepared? Where else can one obtain a mini-wine course from a young, modest but engaging and knowledgeable sommelier?...More

My first experience with Toque was years ago at their St. Denis location. Recently, I decided to spoil myself during the MTL A Table festival and tried their current location on Place Jean Paul Riopelle. I was not disappointed. The service was top quality and...More

The food was delicious and the service excellent. However the waitress should be told that the knife goes on the right and the fork on the left. She put both of them on the right. In such a fancy place, table etiquette is important

Service was impeccable. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and recommended a fantastic wine. Fois gras was decadent. All dishes were well balanced. Everything was prepared with great attention to detail. Would highly recommend to any diner that appreciates fine cuisine.

This review is on a Mtl a table meal. The offer is $71 for a 3 course meal. Selection is rather limited on the 3 courses. For appertizer, we had venison capaccio and foie gras terrine. Both were excellent, but I didn't see the surcharge...More

At first they got us cold hard bread. We had the 3 service menu, MTL a table. Entree was good but the main dish is not up to expectations. The sides on the dish were just tossed as is,with no seasoning. Potatoes with boiled and...More

Description
---16 years ago Toque! opened featuring local produce: a showcase for Quebec's terroir and its suppliers. The ongoing contributions of these artisans is no less important today. We have them to thank for foie gras de canard or salicornia; lamb of heirloom vegetables; seafood or fine herbs. These tireless farmers, foragers and fishermen inspire Toque!'s cuisine, on which they bestow tastes, textures and natural aromas and unparalleled freshness.
