The cafe itself is cute but small. There is a nice (but small) outdoor patio as well which is nice in the summer. The staff are super nice but the cheesecake... the cheesecake is why you go here! OMG. I've never had anything like it. It's not super heavy and there are quite a few flavours! If you're ever in... More

Popped into Rockaberry on Monkland, whenever in Montreal seek out a good smoke meat sandwich , and cheesecake, this is a good place for the later!

Visited Rockaberry on a recent family visit to Montreal. Staff was incredibly friendly and the pies and cheesecakes being offered were to die for! The portions of a "slice" are huge and the quantity and quality are definitely worth the price! So tasty and amazing! I got the mochamisu (a chocolate tiramisu cheesecake)

If you have a sweet tooth, I definitely recommend going to Rockaberry to satisfy your craving. The portions are very large and the taste is ever better. You're getting quality and quantity all in one. It's the perfect place for dessert! It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it!

We were told they have the best deserts so we stopped in after just eating a great meal. OMG the choices were amazing. I had the strawberry shortcake, wife had the pecan pie slightly warmed. We all left with smiles on our faces and bellies full.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
