I went here expecting to tour a Japanese garden but discovered it is a restaurant. I wasn't that hungry but I ordered food anyway because I didn't want to look any more foolish. You should have seen the look on their faces when I asked...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. We were the only non-Japanese people there but received very personal service from both our server and “Mama-San” the proprietor. The sushi was expertly prepared and delicious.

This place never disappoints. The food is great. You can tell that it's not "fabricated", it tastes like home made. The sushi pieces a bit uneven, but melting in your mouth, the gyoza is to die for, the tempura is just right and then the...More

Went for dinner with 3 others. Delicious authentic Japanese food. We all had a different "happy" combo which came with miso soup or salad and sushi or tempura. We were all happy with our dinner and service was excellent.

This is an authentic Japanese restaurant, owned and operated by a Japanese owner and most Sushi chefs are also Japanese. Almost everything on the menu is nice. I go out of way to squeeze this restaurant into my schedule at least once a year during...More

With all the buzz going for the numbers of Izakaya's all over the place in Montreal, where it's all elbows to get in and it seems a contest for the loudest room, I think traditional Japanese cuisine has been sort of lost in the shuffle....More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the
Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and
