We got a Hawaiian take-out one night and the pizza was very good. We picked it up and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool and different. It would definitely be a good place to eat at, especially with kids. They have 2 brick ovens up front, so you can watch the pizzas going in and out.

We had a great surprise with this restaurant. It is an authentic Italian place - menu covers most of the Italian classics; reduced type of pizzas so to raise the bar on quality (similar to what you see in good restaurants in Italy); nice desserts; good wine selection. The pizza is a must. Don't leave without getting one. It is... More

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Sat at the bar as we did not have reservations. Started with a glass of Prosecco each. Ordered three app's to share calamari, roasted eggplant in a tomato sauce and gnocchi in a tomato sauce. The calamari was perfectly fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The gnocchi was just... More

We visit Bottega because some friends recommend it and really like it, didn't try much of the menu because we love pizza so we just want to eat that, and I have to say it's pretty good!! The restaurant is nice, the red pizza oven is definitively the best touch, service can be better do... Totally recommend this place if... More

Probably one of the best Naples thin Crust pizza I have had in my life. Simple ingredient but fresh and well prepared. Fair prices for quality and great selection of wine. Definitely one of those place I will visit again.

this is the real thing. Not an American pizza but the real flavours from Italy. Bravo... Not the cheapest place in town but worth every penny

My favourite wood fired pizza in the city, bar none! You must try the Diavola (spicy pizza) or the Tronchetto (calzone stuffed with cheese), with a Bacio della Bottega (stuffed pizza ball, mushrooms, mozzarella and ricotta topped with rucola and olive oil) to start.

Shame on me. As a Pizza fan, I made a duty of trying new pizza spots, and it just so happened that new places where either in my close neighborhood or downtown where I work. So really, never went out of my shoes to find good napolitan pizza so never really found any since I ate some in Napoli a... More

If you like good pizza, pizza as in Napoli, you do not need to fly to Italy, just go to the Bottega. Their wine list is very good and affordable. We started by sharing aranchi good as in Sicily and fresh salads then had pizzas, the best we ate for a long time. The service was very professional and friendly... More

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
