I brought my brother here during trip to Montreal. We had tea with crepes and chocolate syrup and waffle with chocolate... Chocolate overload but worth every drop. Place was full, but wait was not long. Very cozy atmosphere. Would definitely return.

My wife found this place and although I'm not a chocolate lover as my wife and kids they won me over with a raspberry cheesecake in a jar and it was rich, cream, and oh so good..my family loved it as well which was a plus, I must add they are very pricey but you must pay for good food... More

We went to the St. Denis location after a show. Be prepared. The place is very crowded. Tables are scrunched together and not much room to navigate. Great place for a chocolate desert. Huge selection for the chocoholics! We had an excellent hot chocolate. Very thick and rich. A desert in itself! We also had the fruit fondue with the... More

I had read about this chain and knew we needed to stop into one of their places. We went at lunchtime, so decided to not just have sweets. The lunch was good and reasonably priced. My friend and I both got the very thick and very sweet sipping hot cocoa. It was good, but only for a few sips. The... More

My daughter and I stopped in for desert while visiting Montreal. She chose hot chocolate and I had a latte; we shared the skewer of assorted brownies. I should preface this with the unfortunate issue- I love traditional baking and have not found gluten free products consistently comparable. My daughter cannot have gluten (and not by choice). Sharing desert can... More

Some of the dessert are pretty standard. Small portion. I don't want to paid 8$ for a square of brownie. The service is really good and the staff friendly. But a find other Café at Montréal with best price and best food.

My daughter and I popped into this restaurant between shopping on a very cold winter's day. It was busy, but the service was quick and friendly. We ate savoury gallettes and they were delicious. Mine was so filling that I had to take half of it back home with me! The lovely desserts offered were extremely tempting, but being so... More

If you LOVE chocolate, you will LOVE this is the place. It is a classy place which serves every from of chocolate that your heart desires. Everything they serve is GREAT. Their Viennese hot chocolate is exceptional and another of my favourites is melted milk chocolate served in tiny - very tiny - martini glasses. It's a small portion but... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
