Just besides Notre Dame Cathedral, this small cupcake shop is perfect for a sugar craving. You may wait in line but be assured that the cupcakes are fresch and plenty. Not too espensive too.

You must absolutely come here! Check the opening hours as they are really based on business office hours. But you won't regret the detour!

I am not sure what other people require in a cupcake but this place is hard to beat. The cake is light and airy and not overly sweet or heavy. The icing is not over blown like so many cupcake places that are more about the icing then the cake itself. To be honest, I thought these cupcakes had a... More

If what your looking for is icing with some cake. That'S what you'll get. Nothing to write home about.

This place has the best cup cakes and ice cream in Montreal! There are so many mediocre ice cream and sweet shops in Montreal trying to steal your tourist dollar. Just come here and skip the rest!

Let's be honest. It's 2016 and the cupcake trend is over. That does not prevent me from craving a moist sweet tiny cake from time to time. But this is not where I can help my fix. Are they cute-looking? Sure. Are they good? Meh. The cake was not as moist as expected, overly sweet and clearly lacking balance and... More

I've had many a cupcake in my time but this place beats them all. We ordered 6 but we should have ordered more. The blueberry ones are to die for. I can't say enough good things about the cupcakes. The ice cream as I would call it was not bad either.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
