Perhaps it was an off day, but on a first visit to this restaurant, breakfast (ie eggs) arrived at the table cold, and the fruit was all but market-fresh. Less than impressed.

This is simply a breakfast / brunch restaurant. The first time I went I found the food ok, it’s hard to screw up bacon and eggs. The “fresh fruit” that is served with your order was sparse and not really that fresh. I went again and this time I had a pancake and French toast. After the food arrived I... More

In a quaint house. The Bar has lots of atmosphere. Terrace is wonderful with a view of Mount Royal in the far distance.. I have never been disappointed with the breakfast. It was a hot day in September that we decided to go here for breakfast. The terrace was romantic with hanging grapevines around and above. It was decorated for... More

I use to make this a regular brunch event when my daughter was a toddler. My mother and I would take her with us shopping on the weekends and we would make it a point of having brunch here. The wait staff are great with kids and the food is great. Their brunch options are delicious and huge servings. Coffee... More

This restaurant seems to be the most underrated in this area. It has a genuine and unique pub like ambiance with the soul of time that some of the old downtown pubs that survived modernity have with the typical great meals with personnality that these pubs had or still have other than the same old same old bland of Mc'chain... I've eaten here a number of times. I used to like to go there, especially during their Octoberfest special menu but, after my last experience there, I have never been back. First off, if you go on the weekend for lunch and ask for a lunch menu, they look at you strangely. Everyone seems to go there for their extended... More

Peddler's is an amazing pub style restaurant and still Montréal's best-kept secret. They have thought of everything taste wise including fresh cut fries, a rare staple in today's "got no time to make fresh food" restaurants in the area. All this and more at an affordable price! Instead of a fake vine decor running over the inside ceiling of the... More

Decided to try it for breakfast, but I did not enjoy the food, just average stuff. The waitress was mostly ok.
