We wanted a quick snack so decided to share a chicken sandwich with mushroom compote and new potatoes roasted in goose fat. Sizzlingly fresh and cheerfully served. Hard to beat.

We were looking for a lunch place during the busy festival and just happened upon this bistro. We sat outside and enjoyed an excellent, well-priced lunch of salmon, vegetables, rice, a small mousse, and coffee. The service was excellent and the waiter congenial and speedy.

This little spot in Lower town had a lovely spot by some art and close to the water. The soup and pizza was delicious, as was the dessert. Patio was lovely and there were locals eating with their children and from the Navy.

I believe there are a couple of tables on the sidewalk, so I would suppose there would be no opposition to your having one with you. You may wish to verify that directly with the restaurant though. Quebec City is such a... More
