We arrived at the hotel late Friday night, and didn't want to head out for dinner. We went to Allegro around 930 to a limited menu in the restaurant's bar area. All tables were filled. We ordered drinks and had great service from our bar tender Gilles. I ordered a steak and my wife order Piri Piri Chicken. My first... More

Excellent pre-cruise dinner in Quebec City. Recommend Caesar salad and Mac 'n Cheese. Attentive service.

Stayed at the Hilton and wanted a quick breakfast. It had plenty of variety, but nothing special and the croissants were dry and almost stale-tasting.

$25 a plate for a regular hotel buffet is quite expensive. The service is without a doubt awesome. I would not recommend paying for breakfast.

Ordered the beet salad starter and it was okay tasting but very small portion, and the lobster and shrimp tonkinese soup. The soup arrived with chicken which took some time to fix as our waiter was nowhere to be seen. When it was replaced, it was probably the worst asian-style noodle soup I've had outside of Ramen noodles. It was... More

When I go to a hotel, I do not generally consider in-house restaurants to be very good. You go to a hotel to sleep or meet, but not generally to eat. But Allegro has always been very good with a terrific selection for both breakfast and dinner. The menu changes, but the eggs Benedict were actually on a homemade bread... More

All in all, expensive but typical for a hotel restaurant in this type of location. I did not go with the menu à la carte, but decided to go with the buffet instead. Food was fine. Breakfast buffet, juice, tax and tip came to over 30$. My employer was paying, glad I was not paying for this...

While making reservations at the Hilton Québec I requested the Bed & Breakfast option, which in most cases provides an easy and good solution for the first meal of the day. I have some unkind words for our experience at the Allegro Restaurant. The buffet breakfast at Allegro was good in quantity but not on quality. Tables are too close... More

We took breakfast buffet every day during our stay. The staff was nice and friendly. There was a fair amount of food varieties. The croissants were our all time favorite. We were offered for made to order different styles of eggs on a weekday morning, but not over the weekend. We had the Friday night seafood buffet here as well.... More
