We have eaten several times at Chic Shack over the past two years. The food is amazing. Fresh, tasty and an exceptional value. The staff is terrific - friendly and 10 out of 10 helpful.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Burgers, poutine, beer and wine. The guys serving us were friendly and attentive. I have a feeling we will be eating at Le Chic Shack again before we leave!

I used to work here and very much appreciated the passion they put into every homemade recipe. Their fries are made per order and they products local. My favourite burger used to be the veggie burger but sadly it has changed. It is still good but the burger I once craved is now gone. Lovely vibe and friendly staff!

We loved this place! After a day of travel we were starving and this was just right. We were able to eat outside, which was a good spot right in the midst of Old Quebec City. Our food was very good. They have burgers, poutine and salads, as well as beer and homemade sofa. It's sit-down but quick service. Gluten... More

We stopped at le chic shack based on it's relaxed vibe and close location to sights in Quebec City. The service was great, and the big windows at the front give great views. We each ordered a different kind of poutine...they were ok, but not traditional and not as great as I expected. In fairness, we have had some great... More

Food was good, atmosphere good, price too high. In touristy area so higher prices but not worth the additional cost. Seems like all restaurants will be a little steep in old quebec.

We stopped here for lunch as we finishing our shopping. They were crowded so they seated us at the open window with a view of the street. Service was very slow and it may have been in part to the crowd that was there. The food was delicious and good portions however the traffic of people walking by and the... More

We stopped in here for burgers and a beer. They served local beer and provided samples for you to try. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. Great atmosphere and nice seating options.

Le Chic Shack is a new gourmet burger/milk shake restaurant opened in June 2012. We also serve poutines, fries and salads. For dessert, we offer milk shakes and ice cream sandwiches. The owners of Le Chic Shack are the sister-brother team of Lucy and Evan Price. They are also owners of the renowned Auberge Saint-Antoine and Panache restaurant in Quebec City. Located in a historic building owned by their family for five decades, Le Chic Shack reflects their culinary and interior design expertise. In creating their new restaurant, Lucy and Evan worked closely with their management team and Chef Mikael Garneau, previously of Panache, The Culinary Edge of San Francisco (California) and their local supplier base.Beyond our tasty recipes, these are some features that make Le Chic Shack stand out:* brioche buns made by local artisan baker Borderon et fils * sweet potato fries (along with fries from white potatoes)* uniquely built poutines - from side to main course dishes* milk shakes and ice cream sandwiches made with old fashioned coaticook ice cream * our own fruit sodas and ice tea* draft beer from the local Archibald brewery* draft wine selected by the sommelier of the Panache restaurant* the dynamism and energy of an open kitchen* a relaxed dining environment with tremendous views of the Chateau Frontenac through large French windowsLe Chic Shack is located on the Place d'Armes in the Vieux-Quebec (Old Quebec), facing the Chateau Frontenac and below the Musee du Fort.
