Great meal just steps away from Hotel Frontenac. My wife and I had our Caesar Salad prepared at the table -- best I've had in ages. Hugo-Patrice Bourbeau was our waiter and not did the salad at the table, but also cooked my steak the...More

We dined in several expensive French restaurants during our one-week stay in Quebec City, but one of our favorites is Le Continental. Good ole' fashioned French cuisine with staples: cheesy onion soup, hand-made caesar salad, a variety of "flambe" dishes, crepe suzette, cherries jubilee. Many...More

Had a beautiful Oslo Gucci and cousin had risotto. Food was excellent restaurant was full so service suffered slightly as a consequence. Wine choices available extensive but expensive. Overall enjoyed the visit and would visit again but a little more expensive.

We were on a road trip looking at colleges, and by the time we got to Le Continental, we had been on the road for 10 days and been to 10 different restaurants. To say the least, we were all "restauranted" out. So for my...More

My wife and I visited Le Continental for my birthday dinner. I booked the reservation on Open Table after looking for options for several days. This was not my first choice based on App reviews, but we could NOT have been happier with our choice....More

We had dinner last night at Le Continental. It exudes an old charm style with wood panelling and white table cloths and a reassuringly expensive menu! The quality of the food cannot be faulted. We each had a shrimps cocktail as a starter and that...More

This place has been drawing diners since 1956 and it's easy to see why. Many of the dishes are flambéed in front of you by expert servers. It takes at least 2 years of training before becoming a waiter. All professional. They make a fabulous...More

We were uncertain based on reviews about whether Le Continental would be suitable for our 10-year old, but it absolutely was. She loved the filet mignon! :) At first blush, it seemed very fancy but it was great...fun to have flambe at the table, and...More

We enjoyed our romantic dining experiance here. We had 3 waiters working on our service for just 2 people. Our meal preparation was finished off at our table, which doesn't happen much anymore. Our Waiter knew the wines which was served at the correct temperature....More

To be honest, I am not sure. I usually visit this restaurant when I am in town on business so I am always in a suit. This restaurant is not what I would consider a casual dining establishment so I would wear something... More

Total EnjoymentIn the gourmet world of Le Continental, traditional cuisine is classical. Enjoy the perfect service, the great flambéed dishes that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine. The Continental's wine cellar is most impressive with its board of famous selection of French, Italian and American wines. It offers a choice of more than five thousand bottles, four hundred different varieties from Grands Crus classés to affordable prices.
