Enticed by the look of the place and the menu, we decided to try this place. It was truly amazing. We started with the rabbit "rillettes" and the foie gras. I could have eaten an entire entree of the rabbit. It was excellent. Foie gras is one my favs, but even the rabbit topped it. We moved on to the... More

Enticed by the thought of rabbit and description on the displayed menu we went and booked for dinner the following night. (booking essential I would say). The meal was fabulous shared mushroom barley risotto appetiser, rabbit upside down shepherd pie, rabbit with thyme garlic sauce, vegetables salad. Dessert maple syrup crime brûlée and salted honey pie. Everything was just perfect... More

I have been there twice now and it was always a very nice experience! To be seated in the summer outside is a really setting and in the winter, the interior is cozy but small. The menu is french and honest with a nice lunch menu. probably one of the nicer places in the lower city!

Walked by this place while strolling through Old Quebec and knew that I had to try it. I went for the 3 course menu and the food was absolutely delicious and perfect with a glass of wine! The theme was adorable - try to grab a seat outside if the weather is nice. It was fun to people watch!

First let me tell you that I have never been a big fan of rabbit. If I could eat it only at Le Lapin I would be! It is that good. We had the rabbit poutine and it was the best rabbit I have ever eaten. Given time and the opportunity I would go back and try everything Le Lapin... More

We have visited this restaurant for years, in all seasons, and one of the lasting memories of the place we have is a dinner in mid-December, when the Lower City was quiet, and the snow was up to the window sills, and a group of carolers came in and sang to the dinner guests in the ancient building. Most of... More

The food is very tasty, with quaint atmosphere and reasonable prices. Try the rabbit pot pie and fixed menu.

Stopped in for a late lunch after a day of winter fun. The service wad friendly and relaxed. We shared the duck meat platter for two and it was more than enough. They also have a delicious hot spiced wine. Perfect for a cold afternoon.
