This is my go-to lunch spot. Everything is organic. Daily soups are always great, and made fresh daily. The european-style bread is the best anywhere. Staff is very friendly.

The aroma as you enter is very enticing. Their variety of unusual breads makes it difficult to pick just one. The potato bread had actual chunks of potato in it. The pastry section was very tempting, but I managed to resist as my stop was just to purchase bread.

Alpine Bakery bread is better than any bread I found last year during my 6 months in the Netherlands with visits to several other countries in Europe. The quality, texture and taste of the bread, particularly the brick oven baked bread, was superior to any I found in Europe. We (Yukoners) are very fortunate to have such a world class... More

The smell alone walking in off the street was extraordinary. It smelled absolutely delicious. We didn't have much to eat during the day and just happened to be passing the area and decided to step in. So glad we did. We picked up a loaf of rosemary ciabatta and shared it between the both of us. Delicious!

This is just the average bakery. I saw nothing significant that would distinguish this bakery from the others.

Great old fashion bakery. Lots of different breads and baked goods. They also make sandwiches. The Alaskan Bread the the Chibcha Breads are my favorite. If your traveling stop by and get some meat and cheese for a sandwich from the Yukon Meat & Sausage/Deli as well.

Perhaps it goes without saying for a bakery, but selection does tend to become more limited the later in the day you go. So get there early for the most options! We went there just before a camping trip because they were recommended to us for their long lasting breads. We were not disappointed! Their Flax Bread traveled well and... More
