First of all, this restaurant is under new management as of about a year and a half ago. I've eaten here several times and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. I find that they prepare their food with less salt than other Chinese food restaurants (or maybe not so much MSG?). So what at first tasted just okay, transformed into delicious with... More

So when you are the last man standing, things change. Took friends for the Sunday evening buffet which is billed on the street as 'with seafood'. As it is the only Asian buffet left in town, I did not check the price. The food is OK. There were 2 noodle dishes, 2 vegetable dished, some very, very sweet sweet and... More

The food here is not bad and the service was quick. I got take out so can't speak to the ambience in restaurant. I'm staying at the Goldrush hotel so the location is very convenient. I would go back.

After a long day dog sledding and riding snow mobiles, we searched Whitehorse for a place open for dinner on New Year's Day. New Asia was the only spot we could find, and we gave it a try. The restaurant is clean, but only had one waiter who I guessed was also the owner. The menu is diverse, but dishes... More

Stopped in for their lunch buffet. A selection of a dozen dishes or so. Designed for north American styled Asian food with some sugary sauces and fried chicken. I enjoyed the rice dish and wonton soup. Filled the need but I don't plan to return

We really enjoyed our visit to New Asia restaurant. The portions are huge. The dinner for two is enough to feed four. The chicken balls are the best we've ever eaten anywhere. Order them, you will not be disappointed. The staff are really friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

I was here four times for dinner. Good food with reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Tour guide books at the door. All-you-can-eat available for reasonable price. They offer plenty of food from the menu.

We really enjoyed the wonderfull generous won ton soup. The small was enough for the both of us. On advice we reduced our order to one dish plus boiled rice. The beef in black bean was tender and came with great vegetables that were beautifully cooked. A hearty satisfying meal to end a long travel day.

Went for the lunch buffet. The food was good. The new chairs are a little tight for the spaces. The chair beside you had to be pulled out as did the chair behind you in order for you to get in to your chair. There was no gap at all.I found it a little pricey at $15.00 for lunch. As... More

Many restaurants are quite expensive in town. The prices were reasonable but the food was just average. The box special was heavy on noodles for chow mein with only a few pieces of chicken mixed in. Filling but not special
