Wife and I had workmanlike kale and Caesar salads and their sole special, one prepared with lemon caper sauce over angle hair pasta, the other over linguine with tomato and kalmata olives. Both fine, although pasta doesn’t really add to fish or vice versa. Wine...More

Went here with my fiancé to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a perfect experience for the evening. Food was great and portions were generous! To top it off, they have some nice cool live jazz going on to serenade us and the entire...More

Scusa moved into this location a couple of years ago after a string of other operators failed in this location. Scusa offers one of the few really excellent fine dining restaurants in the area. Traditional Italian offerings which were judged by our entire party to...More

My family and I loved this restaurant. They have such great dishes. We had a great dinner time here. The wine we tried with dinner was excellent. I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves Italian food, cozy and warm atmosphere like home.

A must visit Italian restaurant when in Lake Tahoe. Pasta, bread and sauces are wonderful and made in house. Service was second to none. I highly recommend!

Good food, better than average atmosphere. The chicken saltimbocca and scallops over pasta were excellent. The pasta sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs was just average, which was disappointing for a somewhat 'upscale' Italian restaurant. The roasted garlic was OK, but could have been more...More

We spent the weekend at South Lake Tahoe to celebrate Sally’s Birthday. We are locals so on birthday night, we chose our favorite Tahoe restaurant, Scusa Italian Ristorante. Although listed on TA as “mid-range,” that label must only refer to “price’” as Scuza’s has excellent...More

We dined here last August 20, 2017. We were one family plus a good friend. We ordered Specialties (Linguini Clams, Shrimp Scampi and Seafood Mediterranean) and a new one that was not in the menu (Petrolo fish). Every single dish was amazingly delicious. I also...More
