Second time we have been there and just as good. Super Creedy duck to make into pancake rolls. Thatcher’s cider was nice and cold and in excellent condition.

This pub won "Best Pub in Devon 2017/2018" and certainly gave us good meals in the evening and the following lunchtime after a coastal path walk. Starters included goats' curd with figs and honey and very popular duck with pancakes. Local lobster followed as well...More

Warm welcome and always good service. Quirky garden area thoughtfully designed. The menu is a little bit different from most. We had a noodle dish,a sandwich and shell on prawns. All very nicely done and presented. Prices are reasonable for such good food. We have...More

Old fashioned village inn, serving a connoisseur’s selection of ales and ciders. Excellent food, serving foods in season. This year we were too late for the usually sublime squid. Always busy in the holiday season, full of families staying at local holiday houses. Booking essential.

We didn't eat here but just had a pint in the beer garden, which is enclosed with a vegetable garden and chicken run, plus some lovely flowers and shrubs. the pub is friendly and welcoming and has plenty of character.

Great place to stop on our round walk from Bigbury. Lunch was delicious and in particular the bread was amazing - fluffy, fresh and tasty. Pint of prawns and a ham sandwich sounds very boring but the bread and garnishes were fabulous. Great cider too....More

I don’t remember there being a specific menu or things being marked as gluten free on the menu but I think it says at the bottom to advise if you have any allergies. Again, a phone call will provide the answer.
