This is our favorite restaurant in all of Milos! We were there almost every night in 12 days and we always had a great time.
Waiters very kind and prepared on gluten-free, they always brought me clean cutlery (usually they are in the bread basket and therefore contaminated with gluten) and always pointed out the best dishes. Apart from a few dishes that obviously could not be made gluten-free, I could eat a different dish every night.
The portions are really generous, the prices more than fair.
We ate Greek salad, hand cut fries, tzatziki, roast suckling pig as a specialty, baked lamb with potatoes, chicken with honey and mustard paper with baked potatoes (my favorite dish!!), chicken and pork souvlaki, all always delicious.
The restaurant is beautiful, the outdoor tables in the garden with olive trees and kittens (very polite do not jump on the tables) are really characteristic and give a special atmosphere.
If we return to Milos we will definitely still have dinner here every night.
Greetings everyone!!
From the young couple from Milan who have had dinner with you many times.

The restaurant is decentralized to the chaotic confusion of Plaka and Trypiti. The garden is very pretty and always enjoys a pleasant breeze. The tables, LARGE and SPACED, give that added value that together with the typical Greek cuisine, cured and abundant, make this restaurant the best we had tried in 8 dinners consumed in Milos. The owner of the place is a nice person and friendly, solicitous and kind, as well as the other guys who work there. In short, great food, kindness and good account make this Tavern a jewel in Milos. Go there and he won't let you down.

We went for dinner after visiting Plaka. Very kind and helpful waiters, one of them speaks excellent Italian.
The location is very nice both in the front where you can glimpse the sea and in the back in the very well-kept garden.
We ordered 1 Dakos, 1 mousaka and 1 lamb dish cooked in the wood oven.
All very good and generous portions.
Water, house wine, total cost €48.
Homemade tavern, it's worth it!!

It's a very quaint place, where prices are very low for the amount of food they bring you. We tried both appetizers and meat dishes (souvlaki) and fish dishes (marinated octopus and fried calamari): it was all very good, maybe the squid a bit heavy, but the real highlight are the Kolokythokeftedes, or zucchini and feta croquettes that are spectacular. Also the atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, the waiters friendly and the service fast. Too bad just because the night we went there was a bit too windy, but in the end it didn't ruin the experience. Highly recommended if you are very hungry!

We called in the late afternoon after a tough morning walk. We were the only customers and wondered whether we might have made a mistake. We shared a house salad, fried zucchini and an aubergine dish with tomato sauce and feta cheese. Every ingredient was top notch. The salad was massive, the zucchini served piping hot. We washed it all down with a 1/2 litre house wine which was like drinking black cherries- excellent. The bill was 38 euros including a litre of water and nice fresh bread. We'll be back later this week to try something from the wood oven. And the view over the sea topped it all off.

A few meters from the Plaka, on the road leading to the Roman amphitheater and Klima, they appreciated the quality of this typical family-run restaurant. Excellent foiled chicken and spit-roasted piglet, excellent pitarakia. Quiet and very pretty location with past on the sea.

We stayed a few nights ago on the occasion of my wife's birthday.
Very suggestive location overlooking the sea, close to the descent from Trypiti to the ancient theater and the catacombs of Milos.
Local with tables arranged on the well-kept outdoor garden, of what once must have been probably an oil mill.
The cuisine is very typical: we order an appetizer of dolmadakias (for detachment the best ever eaten) and delicious pancakes with local cheese.
Then lamb cooked in their traditional oven (it melted in the mouth, well flavored, with different spices) and chicken marinated in honey and mustard (effectful presentation in a steel pan and perfect flavor, to try).
Very kind to offer a slice of cake with birthday candle for the wife.
Great value for money.
If you are in Milos, you must have dinner one night.
Consigliatissimo!

We had dinner with 4 friends and we were really satisfied! Friendly staff and really excellent and traditional food (we recommend sharing dishes because they are very abundant and to try more things given the goodness and quality). We waited a bit during dinner but the dinner was worth the wait especially on holiday! We recommend booking... specifically we recommend the vine leaf rolls and the courgette meatballs! Very good local red wine paired with lamb and spit-roasted suckling pig. we will definitely be back!!

This tavern is located on the road to go to the catacombs. I noticed it while passing by in the car and I was intrigued because they have built a small windmill outside. We ate very good spit-roasted meat and the service was very satisfactory. The setting was beautiful. where we eat. The bill was honest and at the end they offered us a very good semifreddo. I recommend it and I want to return

There were 8 of us who arrived at 9:40 p.m.
We sat down at the table at 10:30 p.m. and everything went well: the waiter was very friendly, the dishes were plentiful and tasty. The waiter recommended a red wine that went perfectly with the dishes.
I highly recommend this restaurant

Having spent 6 days on the island of Milos, we had time to discover a number of restaurants, this one is the best local restaurant on the island, we went there twice and we were delighted each time.
We recommend tzatziki with vine leaves as an aperitif, a treat.
The dishes are plentiful and excellent, save room for the desserts because they are well worth the detour!!!
Warm welcome, very reasonable price, the staff gives good advice and the setting is great with their terrace planted with olive trees.
In short, you understand, it is a must if you want to eat on Milos, preferably in the evening, very pleasant lighting atmosphere.

Culinary bliss! We literally enjoyed every bite of our food! Congrats to the cooks who it seems really enjoy what they do and they must be doing it with love, otherwise the dishes wouldn’t taste absolutely divine! The waiters were welcoming and fast and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. It felt like dining at a neighborly / family porch with a beautiful view. Well done 👍

The service at the restaurant was great, our waiter took us through the menu, and picked out the local specialities. I had the baked chicken, my wife had the stuffed tomatoes, both were very good. Nice place away from the town (which itself is quiet and picturesque), with a lovely view of the coast

Super typical place, family run, tables under the trees overlooking the sea, typical Greek music and not tourist.
A delight! Exquisite food and super hearty portions! Choose the dishes of the day! We had an exquisite inzimino of squid (they use local amaranth leaves, slightly bitterer than chard and spinach that we use in Italy), stewed artichokes with lemon, potatoes and dill delicious and stewed tomatoes and peppers stuffed with rice.
All super tasty, fragrant and really homemade.
Super recommended after visiting the ancient theater of Milos and the catacombs!

We ate calamaraki fries, chicken butter cream and village salad. The calamarians were delicious and well baked but the portion was relatively small. The chicken was delicious and enough quantity. The salad good but almost no olive oil. Prices are affordable compared to restaurants in the rest of the island. The place is well-kept with sea view.
