Did a day trip on 1st Jan 2021, but nothing much to see or do in Janda Baik as it was RAINING. We stopped at Pinto Coffee place for lunch. AMBIENT - great, cozy, surrounded by trees. FOOD - was normal, portion was small (as...expected). Have to order 3times to be full. For 3person we spent total of RM130 (be prepared). Banjaran COFFEE (grown in their backyard) was so so. Didnt know how to enjoy it. Was double the price of normal coffee. Know this and don't complaint. Just enjoy the nature and holiday. I attached the MENU for everyone's reference. Enjoy itMore

It was an impromptu trip to janda baik. We were hungry and Found Pinto Coffee on the internet. And since the rate and review of these coffee house is quite good we decided to go. So these are my honest review: 1. THE VIEW the...scenery was MAGNIFICENT. you will get the 'hutan' vibes since it is hidden in the rainforest. and plus the weather is so nice. its a good place to chill and have a chitchat with family and friends. The place is so cosy and calm. 2. THE CLEANLINESS very clean and they do sanitize all the tables and chairs for the next customer. the toilet is VERY CLEAN too. 3. THE FOOD nothing special. Wasnt happy with the food tho. and the coffee is just OKAY for me. I expected more because the price is not that cheap. They really should improve with the taste of the food. Dont mess with the food lover! AHAHA In conclusion, if you go for the view and the place, YES GO FOR IT! I REALLY RECOMMEND IT! but if you go for the food, i suggest you dont expect to high! p/s: THE WHOLE PLACE IS INSTAGRAM WORTHY!!!More

It's a 1 hr drive from KL, you'll passed by the bentong old street before entering the uphill journey to Janda Baik. It is another 20mins drive to reach pinto coffee located within the rainforest. Along the way you'll see traditional malay houses and passed...by SumSum river which had a row of picnic gazebo being built along the river for weekend picnic gathering. At Pinto coffee there offered an open parking area to park your vehicle followed by a short walk of 300m, you'll see the 2 levels wooden house. Ground flr are coffee tables while upper flr are open space free seating on the wooden floor. Its a rainy day and we spent a very peaceful time chit chatting while listening to then raining sound.More

We were recommended to have lunch here and we weren't disappointed. Lovely open air restaurant amongst the rainforest. We had the Nasi Goreng which had lots of flavour, and the chicken nuggets/chips for our son were really nice. My husband and I both enjoyed the...coffee grown on site and bought a bag of beans which the staff happily ground for us. The restaurant itself was really clean as well as the toilets (which often isn't the case in Malaysia). I would recommend visiting this place!More

- Relaxing place hidden in Janda Baik rainforest. - They serves their own grown coffee (no decaf option though) - Limited menu during weekdays - Upper floor is open during weekend only - Food taste is average - Expect some mosquitoes and other insects as...it is located in a rainforestMore

Disaster!! Kid's meal at Adult's hotel price! Despite we calling in for reservations and our food did not arrive after one hour of order! and when it arrives the portion was small and the fish and chips are for kids! Food arrives one at a...time with intervals of about half and hour each cold. We arrive at around 1.30pm and hungry imagine the food did not come... maybe they expect us to read the books on the rack while waiting for the food. Menu selection was very small, only serving fried rice or noodles and pastas for western. Price of the Fish and Chips were RM18.80 but it came with half the portion of normal Fish and chips you get outside. We had to stop by another restaurant for our lunch after the Pinto Coffee experience. No need to waste time to go there just for their coffee it is "out of stock" anyway. Not worth!!More

Pinto serves own grown, brewed 'Banjaran' coffee. You can also have home made scones and others. Nice place for those who like coffee with quite, private and lush greenery.

Wonderful place for a quite coffee in a hidden jungle cafe. The coffee beans are planted, roasted and brewed here. Definitely a good place to relax while reading a book and sipping coffee. A must visit if you're visiting Janda Baik.
