If you craving for Kampung meals, this is the right place! Their masak lemak daging salai, kerabu, sambal tempoyak and durians were yummy and gratifying😋. There are many varieties of food here from appetizer to desserts. This place is near to Tol Sungkai.

What a great place to have some quick lunch. Quite ambient place though there are lots of people during my time over there. Foods are exquisite and the thought of eating rice in a bamboo stick is worth to try for. Please go and try...it yourself peeps!More

One of best place to drop by. The dishes was good especially the fresh water fish dishes. The location is convenient. Located nearby to Sungkai exit. Kampung style. Value of money ⭐⭐. Worth to try.

Happened to be passing this place and decided to stop since it was a popular restaurant. The restaurant serves Malay food, rice is supposedly cooked in bamboo wrapped in leaves. You have to walk to different stalls to pick up your dishes. I found the...taste to be average (you get better similar dishes in Kg Baru or Keramat in KL) so nothing exceptional.More

Place is just a simple huge rooftop and serves hawker style. All local authentic dishes. Grilled food at one side, cooked dishes another, rice in bamboo and drinks are separate counters. Good and tasty food. Price average but affordable. Cleanliness average as service too.

It's my second trip and stop over at this spacious restaurant. If you are looking for vast selections of local Malay dishes, the varieties are not bad. There's the roast lamb to choose from though i don't quite fancy how the lamb is presented where...the meat are cut into a very small pieces and less tender. There's also range of "ikan bakar" or grilled fish eaten with it's "air asam" and "sambal" or dipping condiments so to speak. For me the grilled fish are okay. Not too good but also not bad. Had better. For add-ons we've tried the fish curry and fried vege as well. There are also local "ulam" or herbs. In summary, the food taste not bad but I wouldn't say that they are superb or scrumptious. Their specialty as the name suggests is that the rice is cooked in the bamboo. I have also tried their Nasi Panggang with Serunding which i found the actual highlights to my meals compared to the dishes we had. Then again, it could be subjective based on the meals you've chosen.  The price are affordable. I don't think it's on the steep size. I do love that though the place is spacious with many clients, it is clean and they have a super efficient staff that ensures dirty dishes and tables are cleared. You also have to pay for the food first before you eat.  If you are on your way up North and have not been here. It's worth to find out and try out their Nasi Bamboo and Nasi Panggang. At least once. More

Bamboo for the rice are reused over and over again. Food tasted average. Nothing special. Place is swarming with flies. On counter top, cutting board, plates, tables, floors. Even got flies inside the water. Please buy bottled drink for your own safety. Will never come...back.More

I personally think that this restaurant is overrated. Service and food was average and price was expensive. Nothing to shout about. One visit is enough.
