If you don’t mind clearing your table yourselves and putting up with arrogant unhelpful staff, then this is the place to go. We have had a great experience in the past, but the service at lunchtime yesterday was shocking. It is a very nice venue,...More

We visited for lunch with two dogs, a toddler and three adults with very different tastes. All were catered for perfectly! Great choice of food including the pizza hut. Loved the items on the grazing menu. Spacious garden for the dogs and littl'un. No problem...More

This was our first visit here. It was busy which would indicate a popular place however we felt like the biggest inconvenience when asking for a table for dinner. We found a table in the bar which suited us. We asked one of the floor...More

The Milkhouse looks inviting with its extensive, well equipped garden, comfortable tables and seats Inside and outside. Obviously the venue has had a lot of cash invested since the reinvention from what it used to be called The Bull. Unfortunately the same cannot be said...More

Popped in after visiting Sissinghurst Castle. Lovely garden with cushions in a box for the seating. Great quality food at a good price. The staff were all incredibly pleasant too. Oh and they sell Harvey's Sussex Bitter!

Went for what was meant to be a nice Fathers Day lunch and the service and quality of food was terrible. Too many good pubs around to eat at a bad one so choose somewhere else!

We were attracted to The Milk House after reading an article about Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens in the Waitrose Magazine. First impressions very favourable: ample free parking and a separate card key entrance for guests. Essentially a gastro pub, The Milk House was clean and...More

Visited for Sunday lunch with family. The challenge was that my sister and I are vegan! To be honest there wasn’t really anything on the menu that was vegan however the staff were really accommodating in adjusting a couple of existing dishes so we could...More

The Milk House is open most of the day and it appears coffee, tea and biscuits are served from 9am. From 12 noon until 9pm the full menu is available .... it would be better if you actually looked at their website... More
