The restaurant was very nice and the food we order was delicious (spaghetti al salmone, pasta with seafood) the service was fast and the waiter was speaking well french and english and gave good advices. The only little negative point is the tables inside are a bit narrow (too near each others) but we appreciate the place even eating late... More

There are a number of very good locations for dining in Burano . We sat outside and enjoyed the warm sunshine and people watching . Food was hot & tasty . Extensive food menu with a limited wine offering . Service was efficient & courteous .

A table in the autumn sunshine, the glorious colours of Burano, a helpful, friendly waiter and the best seppie (cuttlefish) that I've eaten in a long time. The brown shrimps on polenta was a divine starter and the roast cuttlefish so good that I thought it churlish to remind the waiter that I had asked for an insalata mista! I... More

Hot drinks are quite expensive, but my complaint was that they then added their service charge to the drinks bill without telling me that they were going to do this. This practise is not uncommon in restaurants serving meals, but it is inappropriate for drinks.

My BFF and I decided to visit Murano and Burano for the day, yet have lunch in Burano. As one can imagine, there are very few restaurants on the island with hoards of tourists. Many establishments were full or had long waits. Strolling around we came to Cafe Vecio after the lunch rush and seating was available. However we were... More

We arrived late lunch time on a very busy day. Their slight hesitation was to ensure we had a shady table. Service was excellent under pressure and the fried mixed fish was perfect.

We have visted Burano on a Tuesday. The restaurant served a great platter of mixed fried fish. My wife took a polenta with dried fish Also the wine was very nice. Then came the tempest and we took cover inside the restaurant for an hour. Meanwhile we have got Coffee and Sambuca on the house. Great restaurant with great service... More
