When in the area, we try to visit this pub. Even in September, we were able to sit outside in the sunshine. Young grandson occupied playing draughts, various other games available to use. Did not eat this time.

Excellent pub with good beer and good food. The staff are efficient and friendly. It isn't big and you might not get a seat unless you have booked for a meal. We were staying locally for a week and the pub was busy every night....More
