Lovely setting, with a warm welcome. Had heard good reports of this pub for food, we were not disappointed. As a not a great lover of sea food, was not sure if I could find anything to eat. Well fish starter, Fish main, not a fish pud has converted me. We were lucky in that the boats had been able... More

...for the location and atmosphere. We have been coming to the pub for many years and love our visits. We have noticed though that the prices seem to be on the up and although that won't put us off calling in we will think twice about eating there unless it is a special occasion.

I can think of many positive things to say about this place, but almost an equal number of niggling negatives. The most exceptional point is the astonishing location, a few yards from the tiny cove from which fishing boats still work. The roads are very narrow around here although there was still a fair amount of traffic, lots of reversing... More

A lovely pub set in small typical Cornish fishing village on a wet and windy Sunday. The sign outside welcomed muddy boots and dogs so you didn't hesitate to enter if you were wet and mucky from walking. Food was excellent, the mussels were the best I've tasted for many years. A busy, but relaxed authentic feel to the place, only... More

after a challenging coastal walk on a wet February day imagine our delight to find this gem of a place to rest and fill our bellies. The food is freshly caught the same day and is simply splendid and along with the local beers make this a difficult place to leave !

We were staying here and booked dinner. The fish is caught and served within hours making it so fresh and tasty. We had Chowder with fresh bread to start (best chowder I've tasted) and I had baked hake fillet for main while my wife had megrim sole which you should try when in Cornwall. We shared a cheese board afterwards... More

We had a lovely dinner of sea food and a burger meal (I am unadventurous). The meal was yet again lovely, the atmosphere great (it was folk night) and the staff were friendly. Top notch

My wife and I try to spend a short break in Cornwall to celebrate St Valentines. We've always rented cottages and try to dine out as close to Valentines night as possible. We found the Cadgwith Cove Inn on T/A and booked a table for two. We also did some research and discovered this establishment seemed to be doing a... More

A warm welcome from the landlord and a log fire is always a great start - especially a Bonio for the dog which was also welcomed. After a drink from a broad spectrum of well kept ciders and beer our eye caught the bar snack menu. This was a choice of 3 from 4 items namely fish goujons, battered onion... More
