Friendly staff, tasty food, always busy, famous locally with a consistent customer base. Drinks inexpensive too. Might have to wait to get a table at weekends - a measure of its popularity

Fresh poppadoms to start. Quick, friendly and great service. Really delicious food- chicken tikka masala and chicken palak (chicken and spinach). So good! Wonderful 21st birthday treat! Really reasonable prices too! Make sure you book in advance because quite a tiny location.
The Raj is always busy as it consistently serves nice food. There are plenty of vegetarian options, although I would like to see aloo chaat on the menu as its a personal favorite of mine. The staff are always friendly and service is always good.
