The staff would not encourage me to go back, pity because the foods good and its local to me. When tables are full they make little effort to tell you that in x minutes they could fit you in, or even sit you upstairs if that's possible

Nice strong coffee (Italian Blend) certainly hit the spot after a few miles on the bike. Fire was on & quite busy for 10:30 in the morning.

we were looking forward to tea and cake after a very busy morning and we tried the meringues which were delicious but our pot of tea was cold, nobody came to ask if everything was ok with our food and with the suicidal music in the background I really wanted to leave and get a cup of hot tea somewhere... Great place but find it disgusting that cyclist that fill the place in the morning are not welcome after 12pm unless buying dinner from the main menu, if it wasnt for cyclist the place would be empty till dinner

So we visited here with the family. Fancied four drinks , outside, as it was blistering hot. Waiter says can only sit out in the courtyard if placing a food order. Are you kidding me??! There was ONE table occupied outside, and was fairly quiet inside. The whole place seemed dead. Why would we want to go sit inside in... More

We've recently visited this place for the 3rd time, and we just love it. The food is fab, the staff are really accommodating, and the setting is lovely. Massive portions, fresh ingredients, plenty of choice for adults and little ones.

Great place nice staff plenty of choice on the menu. Always a warm welcome. Menu contains very varied dishes and there are always a good selection of specials to choose from. The deserts are also of excellent quality would highly recommend however you may be quite content after your main as the wholesome food is very satifying

I had a delicious risotto from the specials board. Extensive choice of soups, sandwiches, quiches etc and lots of lovely desserts. Charming cottage setting, with a terrace for sunny weather. Friendly, efficient personnel. Definitely a place where I would feel comfortable eating alone.
