Called for lunch after reading reviews. We were not disappointed. Nice friendly staff, clean and tidy bar with good traditional pub menu. We had the Steak pie which was chock full of meat with lovely puff pastry. The fish and chips was also very nice. Reasonable prices and we will be happy to go again in the near future.

Ours was a very quick lunchtime visit a few weeks ago. We were first through the door and were welcomed by the landlord. And I mean welcomed. Very friendly. The food is good, wholesome, and tasty. The pies and puddings very welcome.

we visited the Punch Bowl with our two children, the pub was very friendly with good food served in good time. The atmosphere was lovely and we enjoyed sitting by the fire and was even offered if we wanted some cards or dominoes to play. We highly recommend it.

We were staying overnight in Burton-in-Lonsdale and headed here for our evening meal. The staff are really friendly and there was a lovely open fire. The food was good with generous portions and very decent prices.

We have visited the Punchbowl several times since it was bought by the current owners, it deserves to succeed. Really good pub food, great welcome, well kept beers and acceptable wine! What more could you want. Open fire, welcoming staff, really well- cooked food - steak pie, steaks, shrimps etc. The beer changes regularly and it is such a warm,... More
