Situated close to the Northern edge of the bay, the Breakwater Cafe commands fine views over the beach. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The soup was delicious and came with croutons and warm bread. Americans coffee was great. A local photographer had an exhibition...More

We stopped off at Newbiggin enroute to Seahouses from Newcastle. As we didn't know the area this cafe seemed a good choice as the parking was easy. There is a great view from the cafe and it is bright and airy. It was lunchtime and...More

Enjoyed good food and coffee at the Cafe as part of visit to Maritime Centre, Lifeboat House and the newly opened Rocket House. Newbiggin by the Sea should be very proud of these facilities for such a small village. We enjoyed and will be back!

Always welcoming with a wide range of drinks and light bites. Can get busy but there are tables outside as well which is great for thirsty and/or hungry dogwalkers. The dogs even get a treat!

A lovely location and a great building with super views. The cafe seems to be poorly run, though. We visited at about 2pm on a Saturday and the staff all behaved as though they had just had a massive argument, or had been told that...More
