Just a great pub. Pre-ordered as we were a pretty big group and everything was spot on, delivered to our table exactly when we had asked for it and was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous.

Went to the Chequers today for a buffet, for some colleagues leaving do. The staff seemed keen and were helpful. The food was served outside because it was a nice day. There was a decent selection of sandwiches, chicken wings, really nice sausage rolls. All in all a decent spread. There is a nice garden with lots of benches and... More

My husband and I visited yesterday for Sunday dinner. We both had the carvery and it was amazing! Probably one of the best ones I've been to- plenty to choose from and the meats were all perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Have always had a Sunday carvery here but thought would try a Saturday lunch... very busy but found us a table, ordered a jacket potato with turkey curry & the chefs special of moussaka. Very large portions. Inc 2 soft drinks was £32... both meals were very nice.

Booked this Pub for a family get together as it was half way between the West Midlands and Surrey and we weren't disappointed. We visited on a Sunday for the first sitting for the carvery. A good selection of meats all cooked to perfection and decent helpings as well. One of the best roasts ive had for a long time.... More

We generally come here at least once a month and are never disappointed with the service. Great food at a reasonable price too and children are made to feel so welcome with toys inside and great outside play area.

I met a friend here for lunch on Monday. It was a really nice friendly pub. We met at the pub, and as I am disabled the parking is very important to me and that it was easy to get into the pub. As you walk through the back doors into a porch way. On the left was the disabled/baby... More
