Quaint little shop at the top of Kloof street where the service is friendly and good, and the coffee is great. Croissants in various styles available along with a variety of inexpensive breakfast menus. The shop is also filled withh all sorts of baked goodies for take-away treats

What a nice surprise! The charming interior and friendly attentive staff compliment the superb breakfast/brunch and excellent coffee. During this lively work meeting everyone was tucking in and complimenting the food. One overseas film director told me: "this is my local, I come here often when I am in Cape Town". Good recommendation indeed.

Casual friendly atmosphere, fresh bakes and above average homestyle food. Great to meet friends, great for breakfast or just on your own for a cup of good coffee.

Decided to try this restaurant for the first time today. Had eggs Benedict with bacon. Huge portion that I could not finish. Eggs cooked as requested, plenty of bacon but the rosti's needed to be a little firmer. Excellent cappuccino. Very busy so service was a little on the slow side. Would I go back - definitely. Would I recommend-... More

I've eaten breakfast and lunch many times and I am never disappointed. Love the vibe in this small cafe! Be sure to leave space for their freshly baked croissants and artisanal breads.

Sunday morning breakfast. We'll always go back for one of the best breakfasts in Cape Town. Friendly service with good suggestions from the waiter. If we go early we are sure of getting seated. I had the omelette with bacon, emmentaler cheese and mushrooms. Again as before with other choices I wasn't disappointed.

Hands down, nothing comes close. I would upload a picture of the eggs benedict I ordered but before I was able to take a picture it vanished... Into my stomach. Lovely setting, amazing food and great staff. I would highly recommend.
