A watering hole with decent food. I had Fried Grouper Sandwich which was plentiful and pretty good...hubby had the ribs. Good portions. The big downfall for us are the picnic benches. Very uncomfortable. I heard you can get cushions for sitting. Next time. There are a couple of tables w/chairs but hard to get. The setting is amazing. We go... More

Before or after jumping on your boat, stop at the dinghy dock for a Pain killer and a hamburger. Great selection of wings too!! Friendly service. Super casual.

This place had a craft beer selection that would rival many bars back stateside. The service was top notch. Young man named Clayton took the time to be personable and share his story of coming to St Martin with us and make a few recommendations of things to do while on the island. I had the fish and chips with... More

My husband and I enjoyed dinner and drinks there last night. This place is tucked way back and was a bit hard to find but well worth the walk down to the dock. The menu itself is funny and a board on the wall displays the soup du journal as BEER! Yes really. I had two strawberry daiquiris and really... More

This place is a hidden gem on the island. Their food is quite good and very reasonable prices. The seating is seat yourself at large picnic tables which can accommodate about 8. It is quite common to have someone join you and vice versa. The food is always freshly prepared. It is open air and right on the pier. People... More

If you're visiting Oysterbay in your down by the marina you can't miss dinghy dock bar. It's a must to stop have a cold beverage and an order of nachos. Not to say that there are other menu items are great, but you have to have the nachos

We had a great lunch at Dinghy Dock. The fish and chips are great. The service was good; although the "chili" was not ready yet. It was around noon. Signs in restaurant are entertaining and we sat near the water. Fun dining experience. Definitely would recommend.

This is a very casual, and friendly restaurant. It is located right on the water with some great views. They have a fabulous beer list, and some great Nachos. I recommend it .

We spent one of our last evenings in paradise sitting at a picnic table on the dock of Oyster Pond with friends while the sun set over the harbour. The young men who served us were cheerful and friendly, the drink menu had plenty of tasty choices and the meal when it came was tasty, fresh, hot and plentiful. I... More

Description
The Dinghy Dock Bar is a true Caribbean dive bar. Situated on a historic marina in Oyster Pond, the bar straddles the Dutch and French line sitting over the water. It's a place where high and low, locals and tourists, rub elbows and party the night away. It was originally a place to get the rowdy drunken sailor's out of the finer establishments in the area. Sit at the bar and to hear stories told, some true and many not, from around the island and around the world.

The "mix your own" happy hour is the best around. That's right, you get the bottle, glass, mixer, and make you own drink. This is also one of the best-stocked bars on the island, with the usual suspects, as well some unusual ones - even a selection of craft beers from the US for those missing a taste of home.

The kitchen makes some of the best casual bar food around, lunch and dinner. You won't find better fish and chips, ribs, burgers, wings, or anything else on the menu. Daily specials vary from goat stew to jerk pork chops to blackened grouper.

We open at 8am for coffee and fresh baked croissants. The kitchen opens around 11am and runs until you're stuffed. All are welcome - kids, dogs, iguanas, random dock critters, old and young people - provided, of course, they're up for a good time. Family friendly most of the day and night, late night is definitely more suited for the "big kids". You never know what will happen at this place. There is also live music every Sunday night and usually 2-3 other nights of the week.

Sports fan? The game is always on at the Dinghy Dock. Whether it's NFL, NHL, NBA, Soccer, College, Pro, Olympics, you name it and we will like be watching. Stop by and yell at the tvs(that's right, more than one) with us.

You are guaranteed to have a good time no matter what night you go, and once you've been there, you will be back. Maybe because you got so drunk you forgot your shoes, or maybe to do it all over again.
