Spent a lovely afternoon at Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley Marshes visitor centre. Visited the hides (£4.50 cost for ticket). Very informative and staff extremely helpful. WCs spotless. Great variety or very reasonably priced snacks and food on offer. Trying some cake is a must! Able to see Two Marsh Harriers and two Kites whilst there, plus an array of wading... More

This is a good visitors centre. Shame about the food. Good to look out over the reserve, especially if the weather is poor. Small shop with wildlife bit. Electronic screen tells you what birds are about.

Came here very early one morning and was first car in car park (which is open all hours) and walked six miles around Salhouse beach and Cley before heading back for a drink and some home made cake. Views from the resturaunt are stunning and it is highly recommended and all in a good cause

Excellent reserve with loads of birds and very well maintained bird hides. Visitor centre is very good; very helpful wardens and staff; food very tasty. Good views of the marshes from the centre itself.

Nice cafe with a decent selection of cakes etc. Wonderful views across the marshes and also has a nice shop selling a good selection of bird orientated goods such as books and carved wood birds and more. Good parking and lots of walks to take over marshes to see the amazing bird life.

lovely Norfolk Wildlife Trust natute reserve. We were fortunate to see many birds here including a short eared owl and marsh harrier. The reserve contains saltwater and freshwater marsh, most unusual. Walking may not be suitable for all as one route goes on a very pebbly beach. Brilliant gift shop and refreshments. Well worth a visit in any season.

We have often driven through Cley and wanted to stop and have a look round the reserve but as it is a two hour drive away we thought we would stay at The George so we could explore all of Cley! We parked at the reserve and the very helpful assistant gave us a map saying that if we didn't... More

Great views across the marsh from the cafe (always busy). Really helpful NWT staff manning the desk ready to guide you as to where to walk depending on what you want to see. We had lunch at the cafe with my parents, at around 1.30pm. The soup had run out, so mum and i had toasted sandwiches (stuffed with cheese)... More
