My wife and I were taken there by two friends and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable meal at lunchtime working off the "menu du jour" as we are impoverished pensioners living in fear of "Brexit". The lady owner fronts the house and shop area and her husband is confined to the kitchen (where my wife would love to... More

We arrived on a Wednesday evening in September just as the only other couple in the restaurant were leaving. In a lot of other restaurants, being the only people there would have felt awkward but here it felt really comfortable. The restaurant is done up in cosy French dining room style and the waitress was friendly and attentive without ever... More

I haven't been to this restaurant for quite a while, so I recently went back with friends. I'd forgot how good it was. It's a family run restaurant with a very friendly and helpful front of house host. Excellent steak cooked to perfection. Also, a very good wine selection. Paul and Rose Malbeck highly recommend it! I will not leave... More

We came across this restaurant whilst driving around the area near Carcassonne, & based on the positive reviews we'd read decided to try it. The dining room is decorated in in a very rural French style, unpretentious & homely. The welcome from Helene (the proprietors' daughter, & our server for the evening) was warm, & this was the same throughout... More

A splendid family run restaurant a 20minute drive out of Carcassonne. Warm welcome, quality food and wine at good prices. if you prefer a quieter spot outside of the very commercial Castle area of the city then this place is worth the effort. Don't be put off with the lack of other customers or perhaps the football team were playing.!!

This is another good resturant, the service is a little slow as only one person serving, all food cooked fresh so hence the Waite....the atmosphere could be a little more lively..the menu dose not change and hasn't for many years.?..Worth a try if you are in Montreal but as I say can be a long Waite

The food was good, reasonable price and quality. The service is friendly and professional, and the owner's daughter who served us is proud of their cooking and happy to discuss any ingredients. The kitchen is a bit slow, so you would not stop here for a quick bite, but if you have the time, it's a pleasant place. They also... More

We were a group of 12 out on the last night of our holiday and were not disappointed. The menu was extensive and the waitress was very friendly and spoke Fluent English which was helpful with such a large group and varied French speaking ability. The decor is a little dated for my taste but I think would be described... More
