A rather small taverne with a fabulous view and good food. Real value for money. Very friendly staff and you are also welcome to have a look in the kitchen to check out the fresh fish or the traditional Greek dishes. The menu is quite...More

Wandered into this restaurant just to see what the views were like from the terrace as opposed to an adjacent, larger restaurant with similar views,(the staff there appeared indifferent.) It was towards the end of season, so very quiet but the couple who run the restaurant...More

As observed by others this taverna sits above a souvenir shop, and with a name that does not immediately appeal. The menu is predominantly traditional Greek (with outstanding pizzas for those who might prefer an alternative). We stumbled upon the 'Tropicana' one evening and subsequently...More

Some will like this restaurant and others will think it lost in time in a way they won't know or value. Colleen and I liked the lost in time bit. There had just been a big party and the lady was obviously a bit overworked when...More

I'd recommend visiting this place. Good value food, cold beer on tap. Very small but can fit quite a big group. Pizza was alright, salad was good. Nice atmosphere. Lady serving smiley (rare!) And a lovely view if your table is in the right place.

Wonderful views over Port Spillia and excellent food. The Pizza are massive and the prawns in Cheese and chilli sauce are my all time favourite (sorry have forgotten their name).

My family could have eaten here every day. Excellent pizzas, as well as wide range from the grill and traditional dishes. Worth every single step up from Spillia bay. Always welcoming with friendly service.

Like another review said: this restaurant is easy to miss. It resides on top of souvenir shop and looks a bit like a cafe/Bar but do not let looks deceive. You can get the best tastes here: fresh fish, well done Greek appetisers, perfect grilled...More

Stayed two weeks in Spartochori and during that time we tried almost every dish on the menu and not disappointed once. Best pizzas on the island! Also kleftiko and stifado are especially delicious.

Although this appears to be mainly a pizzeria, don't be fooled, the menu includes traditional Greek food too and the quality and quantity provided are excellent. George is very proud of his cooking skills and is very welcoming and accommodating - willing to oblige with requests where possible and given adequate notice. We enjoyed his kleftiko, stifado, shrimps a la grecque, gigantes, fish and briam which he prepared especially for us on request. It was all freshly cooked and beautifully presented.
