Stopped here for a breakfast in August and the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately we never got chance to sample their dinners as it was always busy when we walked past. Give it a try!

Reasonably priced considering the road noise. If it were in a different location it would definately get 5. Sorry, but no.

we thought we'd write another review of this restaurant, which we discovered by accident on our second day and we had at least one mail per day (lunch or dinner) for the rest of our 14-day stay in Skiathos. Food never ceased to surprise us, fresh and exactly right. It's exactly as your mother or grandmother would cook it at... More

The only thing I could say negative about this taverna is that it is close to the road, apart from that it is excellent.

Lovely Taverna on the road but no problem, spotlessly clean ,wish we had found it earlier. The prices were very reasonable,I had Perch with orange sauce it was fantastic, and Haddocke was superb.

Service is good, and the waitress was lovely. I'd give four stars if half the plate wasn't filled with chips and jacket potatoes. It really doesn't need them, the slouvaki was tasty by itself. The free desert was a lovely gesture. The courtyard is a nice place to sit- the road isn't busy in the evenings. Not open on Sundays... More

Lovely little courtyard setting and although on the main road apart from the local bus the noise wasn't too bad. I had the souvlaki which was very nice. Only gripe was being charged 7€ for what was essentially just a bowl of ice cream, nothing 'special' about it was expecting more.

We only called in here as we had been to all our favourite tavernas. We miss this one out as it is usually empty even at the height of the season along with the taverna next door. We went in at around 8 pm and were the only ones there. I had lamb chops and my wife had souvlaki. Wow!... More

We found this little restaurant over 10 years ago and it's still the same as the first time we visited. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and extremely efficient service. The Tzoumas family are locals of the island and take great pride in what they do. Mesostrato means halfway which it is on the bus route, Now the food, ,, there is... More
