Virtually sitting on the beach within a stone's throw of the sea. A simple menu focused on fish, our food was cooked infront of us by fire. Attentive service, will take home some great memories and would put on our repeat list for when we return!

Food was just below average. We found ants in the food. We had an issue with a plate, asked to change it and got it back the same. Overall not good value for money. Never again.

What are we all looking for in the middle of the summer in this little but warm village ?
A simple service, a Nice Time, something to eat ? A good and respectful service? A warm welcome?
You are there.
Those few tables on the beach, this little bbq setup in an old boat, a piece of delicious seafood coming directly from the bbq to your table ( bbq is Near the tables on the beach )
Yes this is the demonstration that simplicity is a synonym of perfection.
But don’t tell to anyone ...

A fairly ugly chiringuito - beach bar - in a very ugly section of the beachfront in Torreguadiaro, looking across the bay towards swishy, sophisticated, Sotogrande.
It is right by the end of the large, two-level (both levels in the open air, not one underground) free car park at the entrance to Torreguadiaro if approaching from Sotogrande.
Simple is the word here. A simple beach bar serving simple food. Fish, mainly.
There are three styles of cooking here. Fried, i.e. in a light tempura-style batter; "a la plancha", which tends to translate as grilled in English, but actually means not under a grill but on a hot plate; and finally "al espeto", literally stuck on a stick, i.e. roasted on a stick next to an open fire, usually a fire built up some way from the tables (it gets very hot!), and often in a sand-filled old boat, so that everything is at a height that avoids bending down too much.
Only whole fish, sardines, dorada, gambones, etc. are cooked this way, and if you have a choice, go for this mode of cooking, it's delicious!
We were a large group - we had reserved - and ate extremely well, with a large range of different fish dishes, fried, grilled and al espeto.
We also had fried vegetables, which were disappointing because instead of 5 or 6 different vegetables all crisply fried in tempura, it was just half a plate of soggy fried peppers and the rest courgette in tempura. A bit boring.
Prices very good indeed for the quality of the fresh fish.
However, very modest and in frankly ugly surroundings.

I've been coming to Eulogia for years several times every summer, and it never disappoints. Espetos are amazing and it's literally on the beach sand.

This place is very very basic. Doesn't look like much at all from the outside but the food here is great and so cheap. Some of the tries are the ensalada de pimiento, calamares which are some of the best along the coast! The pata de pulpo is amazing too and the rosada a la plancha is also sensational. They also do fresh fish on an open flame which is great too. Service is fast and owners are super friendly!

The best of the area, mandatory stop every summer, very close treatment unbeatable.
Regarding food, it is worth noting the wood-fired Spectos that are its specialty.
