A new concept of Beach Club in Cala Sardina, Torreguadiaro, a semi virgin beach in an idyllic setting, which may be considered the best and most beautiful beach in the area, only 3 minutes from Sotogrande. A space to relax, listen to good music, eat, drink, meet old and new friends, and feel like in the living room of your own home with amongst others wonderful views of the Rock of Gibraltar and North Africa. A different experience to sample day or night, relaxing and/or sunbathing on one of our hammocks. Our food is Mediterranean with an international flower but mostly healthy and natural, always fresh and of the highest quality. Health starts with us and ends with our clients feeling on top of the world. We offer a full menu at lunch and dinner. In the evening the atmosphere is perfect for that special lounge / chill-out feel sharing a drink or specially made cocktail with friends and accompanied by good music and amazing tapas / appetizers, the latter on the house…

Visited this place 2 years ago and returned again and was not disappointed. We paid for a Balinese day bed and they served us a fresh fruit platter and some olives which was a nice touch. We also stayed for dinner and the food was delicious. The staff were really friendly and the cocktails were amazing. Will be back!

Good place to eat on the beach

The beach bar has a large terrace, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and serve very quickly. To eat paella it is better to reserve, as is normal it takes time to prepare it, and as it usually fills up, you make sure that they can provide you with the service. And it is advisable to order it, the seafood one is very good and generous, with everything it has you won't leave hungry. I recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely little beach bar

Been here a few times now, and it is always very good. Very reasonable prices, well worth hiring a cabana for the day, last yr when we visited they had an offer of for a cabana bed, a bottle of ice imperial, and a fruit platter which was a v good deal. Service is pretty good too, and the food is very nice. Music in the evenings too. Go try it, you won't be disappointed, there is a large car park afew hundred yards away from the beach bar, access is off the roundabout on the main road.

We ordered a scrambled egg on the menu that was very good, one of grilled sardines that was very good and well cooked. Out of the menu, the girl recommended an octopus leg (which she said was quality and very good), the leg was frozen and was hard, very small, our surprise is when she brings the bill they give us the price of €25.5 Because of that pathetic octopus leg, I mentioned it to the waitress and she only asked me to apologize and if I wanted a “funny” shot. I don't mind paying when quality and service is provided but I don't like feeling scammed, I will never return to that place nor will anyone I know!! Disappointed

Once again, visit IlSoño, a beach bar in Cala Sardina (Torreguadiaro). Tended by Tamara and Andrea, they make the beach day, great. With its team of young waiters and excellent menu, it forces me to come back every year to visit them.

I have eaten here many times. Most recently 2 weeks ago. It is your classic Chiringito on the beach, beautiful setting. This place has excellent service and very good quality food, seafood is amazing. Great for Sunday lunch. Highly recommended,

What a Wonderful Wedding Venue!

It was our first visit to Il Soño for our sons wedding. It was amazing. The setting, the venue, the food and especially the staff - were all fantastic. What a brilliant day we all had and now such lovely memories. So many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Il Sono for helping to make the day so special for Mark & Lydia.

Fantastic beach location

After getting off the plane and driving along the coast this venue made a wonderful lunch location. The beach view is definitely a strong point but with shaded seated areas it was fabulous. The food and service were good, it is somewhere we would try again for sure.

We visited here not knowing what to expect and we where blown away by the amazing food, Paella was to die for 🥰The very attentive service. The stunning surroundings. We will certainly be back again. It was just fantastic.

We have been going to Chiringuito Il Sono each time we have visited Spain and not even once have we been disappointed. The place is beautiful and they offer top quality, extremely fresh fish. Although the place is almost all the time full, the food is always very good and the owner is also very friendly and able to speak at least English, French and Spanish. As my partner is from Switzerland and I am Spanish but live in England, those languages were really appreciated because he could explain to everyone on the table what he had to offer from the day. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great Paella!

We have been here before and had amazing paella and service, however, we took our friends who are visiting us here a few nights ago and was completely shocked at one waitresses attitude. We had eyes rolled at us, bread plates thrown down on the table literally and lots of huffing and puffing when we ordered. Not exactly what we expected considering we had raved about here. The paella again was nice but this ruined it a bit. Apparently it had been really busy that day but irrelevant you still can smile or dont serve i think.

The actual restaurant and the area are splendid and the owners have made an effort to create a lovely space for daytime or evening dining, with spectacular views towards North Africa and Gibraltar. However, the food doesn't live up to the stylishness of this chiringuito. We had a family lunch and a dinner for two - both meals were quite average (we had seafood paella for lunch, but honestly, although it had a seafood taste, there was VERY little seafood in the rice). Having said all this, the owner and the staff are delightful and I would love to give a better rating - they just need to improve the kitchen and we would be happy to return!

Not been here for a few years and probably won’t be back for a few more. My wife and I went for a light lunch. Two portions of sardines became one and why that gave to charge an extra €2 to cook on the BBQ is beyond me. One tomato sliced with a drizzle of olive oil at €7 says it all. There are better beach bars close to this one
