Highly recommend Chambao beach bar! The service, the food, the wine, the view, the atmosphere all 5 stars!!! Located right next to the beach where you can eat in the restaurant or if your having a beach day you can rent a sunbed and also a beach caban for food. Great day for everyone. Would recommend to book in advance due to how popular this place is! Ensure if you’re going during main summer months that you set off early to find parking as beach parking fills up quickly and so ended up parking far and walking for 20 mins. I made sure to call about being late so there were no problems with the booking :) They speak English too!

Post wedding beach Lunch Parties must be difficult to pull off but we were treated to a wonderful array of calamari and assorted appetisers and then a choice of vegetarian or Fish Paella. As we were a hundred people the two Paellas were prepared in giant dishes. I couldn’t believe my palate as I had the Fish version; simply amazing. Well done to the Kitchen to pull that off. Wow.

Lovely place, good food and great staff

We went along for dinner one evening with friends and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive on arrival, drinks and food arrived in a reasonable time. The food was well prepared, the only minor criticism would be a lack of vegetables with the main dishes. They played good chill out music and on the evening we visited there was a spectacular sunset.

Nice location. That’s all there is. It went downhill before we even sat down: our table wasn’t ready or cleaned by the time we had reserved. From then on, service was ignorant and the waiter got irritated when we took a bit longer to order. We also asked 3 times to get some salt before receiving one tint packet for a table of 9. The shrimp croquettes were cold on the inside, so we asked for some warm ones. Then we realized that the shrimps were literally just put into a blender WITH the heads and everything, which we could clearly see- The eyes and everything. Then the gambas pil pil were just a watery mess. The fries that we got with our food weren’t fried fully and therefore raw (and definitely weren’t homemade). They came out of freezer bags. The coca cola was “fake” and watery. The list goes on. The burger didn’t taste like anything. The chicken was dry. The one star is for the location.

Disgraceful terrible service This is a well known top priced beach chiringuito that must attract the worst most incapable people to form their team of staff 6 waiting staff at the time we arrived and 20 customers. We successfully ordered drinks and food (only beach place in Spain on a Friday in June that doesn’t have any fish!!) however they arrived 15 mins after we ordered and after one of our dishes arrived. The incompetent waiter put the glass of red wine at the far end of the table and told us to pass the drinks down! All he had to do was to walk around! We had to get up and ask for condiments. No one asked us if we were happy. No one asked if we wanted more drinks. We think the manager was on site and the way he was dressed he looked like he was going to a football match- very poor manager, no idea at all We waited for the other food items to arrive so we could eat together. Tasteless poor quality food although the location is great Won’t go again, utter rubbish

Sushi rolls were dry ans hard asked the waitier he tols me there were made in yhe morning and this was dinner 1015pm. Aldo asked for a 2 steak rossini one come small portion ans the second spelled very bad meat was off Also asked for polonitas fried .Prawns ( never seen such bad Prawns in my life. When confronted one of the waiters, they said it's normal. We'll never go there anymore or recommend anyone a complete Rip-off

Most disappointing meal of the holiday.

We asked if they were small plates (tapas) or not - told they were main dishes. The Scallops arrived and there were 4 small ones in a dressing with a salad. €16.50! The best dish out of the 6 we ordered was the fried potatoes. Mussels were cold but ok. Burger ordered well done came blue, but it was tasty. Calamares was rubbery and over cooked. The ladies ordered pornstar martinis where were so sickly sweet they were barely drinkable.

We booked in this restaurant for the opinions of other customers, we thought it had indoor dining and the rest would be areas with umbrellas but everything is exterior. They have quite a few waiters, of that there is no complaint but the service is very slow, they brought the drink and until we were noticed 15 minutes passed and we had to wait half an hour until they brought us the first course. In general the food is correct but a few ridiculous rations for the price they have, a handful of chirlas to the sailor with many empty shells, 6 croquettes of pout, the good but few mouthfuls, a few bland makis and 5 pieces of rooster. We had to order bread twice, we had sangria and a couple of small bottles of water, everything cost us €110. In many chiringuitos they serve much faster and much more quantity and good quality. It is an establishment aimed at tourists and those who do not mind spending money and staying hungry.

Lovely location with great facilities for a day on the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My only negative is I was the only vegan within my group and there’s hardly anything on the menu not even soya milk for tea and coffee. I appreciate it’s not that easy to cater for everyone’s preferences but the usual chips and basic salad as an option was a bit disappointing when with a bit of research something better could have been offered. I was however given a lovely platter of fresh fruit as none of the desserts were suitable. As a family we had a brilliant time but I’d recommend bringing some milk alternative in a flask and bare in mind this restaurant has very basic options if you’re vegan. I would suggest if there’s room in a freezer you could stock some frozen vegan burgers place in a nice soft roll with a slice of non dairy cheese some lettuce tomatoes and avocado would have really hit the spot. Perhaps if there’s enough demand it can be added to the menu. The other members of my group enjoyed their meals very much. 🙏🏻🌱💚

Unhealthy raw fish with blood on spit

The food was terrible, they served me a sea bass with a head full of blood, which disgusted me and I couldn't eat, everything full of bloody visors! The manager had a non-commercial and passive aggressive reaction, he told us that we were surely another planet, and that this was planet Earth, that we should complain wherever we wanted because he did not care, he also told us that we said that they did not provide towels for the hammocks When the only thing we said was that they should inform by phone that there is no towel service, it is incredible how a bad manager makes a well-located business lose customers! I will put the complaint and the review everywhere, we had to pay him for the disgusting food because in the face of a passive aggressive attitude it is better to end our day on a personal level in Santa Paz, but I give his food a ZERO and his manager another ZERO

CHAMBAO relaxing indulgence whatever the occasion

CHAMBAO is a beach chiringuito with no pretence! Lovely relaxing atmosphere, clean with friendly service. The food is very good with a good menu sselection and of course the traditional boat BBQ. A fantastic way to spend a day on the beach. There is a choice of either sunloungers or cabanas. Perfect for long lunches or a cool evening meal by the sea. Chambao is for everyone.

A really disappointing evening! I have been many times and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately this visit did not live up to expectations and such a shame as I brought 2 guests who were on holiday. The food was lukewarm and not very tasty - after a few bites, I did not eat anything on my plate - food was unappetizing. Requested glasses for water 3 times before we received them. Maybe end of season? Staff, chefs tired? I may return for a drink but I won’t be eating in Chambao ever again!

Fun ans vibrant restaurant on the beach with great service.

Really fun and vibrant restaurant down on the beach. We sat in a cabana and ate. Beautiful cocktails and we ordered well. Everything was delicious other than my red tuna could have done with a bit more flavour ans seasoning. My mum ordered the poke and said the same about hers - it lacked Chili and lacked flavour. Everything else was perfect. The service is brilliant, the atmosphere is super fun and we had a gorgeous evening and will definitely go back (we go every year)

We visited here aleatory October. The food was very average. The service was very good and the drinks ok. I wouldn’t go again, which is a shame as the setting is fantastic. To be fair we ate about 7, and the sardine/fish chef didn’t start til 8, but my chicken was well over cooked, and the others food was not great either

Nice staff and acceptable food, but it is incredible that we have to pay €3 extra for two people for the "cutlery", as the staff themselves called it when we asked about the charge. We did not eat any of the dry bread before the meal nor did we reserve any tables. I won't take a place like this seriously until these hidden charges go away. / A happy boy who believes in karma...
