We wanted a quiet place to dine but the food was terrible? A fellow diner said the landlord had very rudely spoken to a waitress who was in tears so we waited. Food took ages to come and it was obviously microwaved as part was...More

Quirky canal side pub. British pub classics on the menu. Faggots were good, my daughters scampi was enjoyed. Really good selection of craft ales.

We had a great meal in a real atmosphere. There was a good selection of beers and ciders. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal pub after a day on the canals. Only negative was that an additional person behind the bar would have speed up...More

A real pub in a canal-side setting at the end of Folly Lane in Napton on the Hill near Southam. You can expect a warm welcome, great beer, good food and on many occasions live music. The Folly has been a pub, lubricating local residents and canal folk since at least 1840 and possibly earlier. It continues to fulfil this role as a 'real pub' with individual style and quirkiness.
