We enjoyed a perfect lunch in the beautiful brand new dining room overlooking the garden. Both the food and the service were of the highest standard. Highly recommend. A walk around the walled kitchen garden should not be missed.

This was my first visit since the new dining room opened. The venue is sublime - large panes of glass displaying the glorious garden as an uninterrupted view. Just a joy to sit in the room. Oh yes, the food was excellent, as were the...More

You turn up to an impressive oldy worldy building and get ushered into a stuffy old English reception area. The chairs and sofas are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and attentive as they give you the menu and drinks list. The idea is that...More

We visited Gravetye Manor for the first time to have lunch in the new restaurant. We were greeted at the main door and introduced to the waiter for a pre lunch drink in the beautiful garden. Every staff member we passed said good morning. We...More

The recently opened new dining room extension is a triumph of design blending old new and the garden perfectly. This is such an improvement over the three previous old fashioned dining rooms. The service was fabulous and all dishes worthy of the one michelin star....More

Post-refurb Gravetye has certainly changed for the better. The new main restaurant is light and airy, and now focuses on the garden, which features so much in the recipes and history of the manor. The food is still true Michelin standard, but a nice addition...More

What a difference! It has been some years since we dined here but this was mostly excellent. The transformation of the dining arrangement makes it outstanding. Previously you were seated in one of several small and dark panelled rooms; now there's a large airy glass...More

Description
From unhurried classical dining in our atmospheric wood panelled restaurant to leisurely lunches in the garden, from traditional Afternoon Teas to our very reasonable Table d’Hote menu – we hope to delight and enchant with our food regardless of the occasion. We are incredibly fortunate to have a one acre walled kitchen garden, which during the summer months provides 95% of all fruit and vegetables we use in the kitchen, assuring you of the very freshest ingredients. "We have an exceptionally talented team in the kitchen who are very keen to keep ingredients as fresh and local as possible. Dishes will change as often as is practical and will offer something new to try regardless of how often our guests dine with us. I look forward to inviting you into our restaurant at an exciting time to try, what I firmly believe to be, some of the most honest and delicious food in food in the area." Executive Chef – Rupert Gleadow
