Pleasant dinner on the terrace, but sadly a non-diner chain-smoking at the next table was rather off-putting. The food was pretty good but under seasoned; portions were generous to large. Service was charming, but a tad slow. I'd definitely return though as pretty good value all round.

Rooms were comfortable but the location is superb. A picturesque location(and... More

I recently stayed in the apartment next door to Hotel Le Barrage. Amanda, the owner and chef, is the perfect host. She was very friendly and I quickly felt at home. The 'Menu de Jour' was the perfect way to sample her wonderful home made cooking and was excellent value for money. I would probably stay in the hotel if... More
