Where do I start, rude staff and food had taken nearly over an hour to make whilst we were sat hungry! When it came out tasted bad, was not worth the wait at all!come here a couple of times never again what has happened to this place.

We visited for a late lunch and were not disappointed. Wonderful welcome from the bar staff, great food, despite huge numbers of people appearing as the sun to come out. We enjoyed looking at the river, people watching, and were able to have a nice walk around the village. I would come here again without hesitation.

Great cosy coastal venue. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere guaranteed good food and drinks. Kids were very happy enjoying a perfect hot chocolate whilst playing a family game of cards.

Well worth getting totally lost (at night) trying to find this Inn - DON'T follow your satnav nor Google maps (from Holbeton) unless you want to drive down the narrowest of bumpy dirt tracks to Noss Mayo! Excellent service, excellent food and for a busy Saturday night, relaxed and not noisy (hate noisy restaurants where you can't hear the person... More

This was my second visit here and it still didn't disappoint. The food is delicious. It has a great menu, lots to choose from. Has a mixture of traditional pub food as well as something different depending on your mood.

The Ship Inn is a great place for a drink after enjoying the coastal walk around the adjacent coastal footpath. However beware of the beer and wine prices. Visited last Saturday and the Beer was a good price but 20p more than advertised and the wine got more expensive the larger the glass?? 125ml was £3.75, 1.75ml was £4.75 and... More

We were visiting yachtsmen and took a walk with our dog to The Ship. It was about 2 pm on a lovely sunny winters day and we were fortunate to get one of the last 2 tables. Service was still fantastic even though it was that busy, we ordered lunch and then moved tables so someone else could have the... More

The ship is situated on the side the estuary one of the most picturesque spots in the country The restaurant has a great choice of food with a good selection of local ales the only downside is it can get busy in the summer

The pub has a great location & atmosphere the staff although many are young (inexperienced) they pay attention are attentive and offer good service, very clearly well trained by someone on the ball. The menu reads like a classic list of "Pub Food favourites" and you may initially think "I was looking for something a bit different", but when the... More
