Great restaurant and very family friendly. Two adults, a four year old and a two year old who de decided to have a tantrum mid meal and the staff were very accommodating. Food was delicious. Can definitely recommend the paella!

This is our favourite restaurant in Lanzarote and have been visiting for many years. Another 2 visits recently and the seafood and prices put many other restaurants to shame. Can’t rate it highly enough and our No 1 recommendation for anyone that asks.

Do yourself a favour, make a reservation and go try this restaurant out. We went twice in a span of 5 days. Food was tasty , plenty and of good quality. The 2 times we went the restaurant was full. Make a reservation early to...get the table at the open patio doors.More

For straight fresh seafood, I find Casa Rafa simply unbeatable. Generosity is a trait of the house, but this certainly does not detract from quality! I always tend to go for their daily catch and also never miss, when available, the special raw sliced tuna...starter with those fantastic caramelised onions. This time I also tried another cooked version of tuna, coming in chunks within a delicious and sweetly spiced red sauce. I see passing around me very nice looking rice dishes, but so far I never had the chance to try them. One day... To finish on a sweet note, their bienmesabe is my favourite around here. Prices will pleasantly surprise you, service is friendly and efficient.More

Great atmospheres we had travelled to lunch at the costa Azul (toto’s - see our review of that) but the restaurants in el Golfo take it in turns to close for their day and so we fortuitously ended up here at rafa’s. They squeezed us...in without a reservation (it’s very popular) and we had a great time. Fresh food, good service, we were allowed to sit and relax afterward.More

We previously visited this restaurant in February 2020 and found it to be the best we had tried in El Golfo. We have just been back again, three years later and post-Covid, and found it as good if not better. We were lucky to get...a table on a Saturday lunchtime as most were reserved but the managed to accommodate us. The service was friendly and excellent and the food superb. We had the fish of the day which the waiter kindly filleted for us at the table. It was delicious and the Canarian potatoes were the best we had all week. The side salad was a little more imaginative than most places too. A little more expensive than some places but well worth it.More

One of the other reviewers speaks, in Spanish, of the Magic of Casa Rafa! The whole dining experience is one that we love. Of course the food is excellent, Both Rafa and his wife are lovely people who are quietly friendly and very hardworking and...efficient. This rubs off onto the rest of the waiting staff, who take great pride in presenting the room to perfection, to serving the food in a highly professional manner, whether that be to skilfully fillet the fish at your table, or to serve the delicious paella, and to readily assist with making the Casa Rafa a very special experience.More
