The Puhoi Café & Cheese Store is a great daytime destination cafe featuring award winning Puhoi Valley cheese and ice cream. Located 4km off SH1 in an idyllic setting in the beautiful Puhoi valley, with lovely views, park like surroundings and a children’s playground. Try our all-day brunch menu, great cheese platters or cabinet food and enjoy local craft beer and wines in our licensed café. Cheese and ice cream tastings offered with a fabulous range of cheese and retail products available. Large picture windows give an excellent view of cheese making, which usually takes place on weekday mornings, with best viewing from 10:30am. Open seven days per week, 9:30 am to 4pm with extended hours in summer.
