We had a very tasty eggs benedict for breakfast sat outside in the sunshine. Food was excellent, service was good and location on the key was good too, overlooking the water and boats.

First place to eat on first visit to NZ. Food was great. Tasted like food should taste. Service was relaxed and that was what was needed. Nice location.

Stopped in for happy hour and stayed for a tapas dinner. Grilled bread and dips, prawns, olives - all wonderful. Live classical guitar. View of Harbour. Quite a lovely early evening experience.

Decided to drop by on a Saturday with my better half for her birthday lunch. Menu looked okay but sadly after being seated for almost 20 minutes with four glasses of water between the two of us and zero service, I decided to pull the pin on that particular operation. Inattentive, apparently-blind, wait staff with little to no energy about... More

Went for lunch with group of friends. The menu looked promising but never delivered. The smoked chicken salad came without the chicken; the staff quickly added chicken but the salad was still abysmal- cheap and rubbery slithers of mozzarella , few wilted leaves and and no dressing to speak of. To their credit, the management took the salad off the... More

That ain't Tapas! Fairly average I could cook way better at home. Service below average. Learn to smile people you have a job!

Visiting my son in New Zealand we walked along the viaduct until we came across Pascado. Sitting outside we ordered a beer and danced at the menu, the Tapas menu is separate and we decided on that. We shared 4 plates thoroughly enjoying each one. The Belly Pork and the Chorizo with Chick Peas were our favourites.. i have had... More

We had a group lunch at Pescado last week and it was fantastic. I can highly recommend the Haloumi on ciabatta and the Moroccan spiced chicken. Others at our table rated the pork belly highly. Several others had the Moorish Kebabs which they said could have had more flavour but that was the only minor grumble from an otherwise fantastic... More

Beetroot salad with walnut and haloumi. No flavour ,slices of raw beetroot laid out on plate with if you are lucky one walnut cut up. A few little pieces of haloumi. Spinach and smoked chicken just plain tasteless . No dressing other than oil and a drop of balsamic in it. My husband had fish sitting on chips making chips... More
