Popped in for a drink and ended up having lunch. Lovly sandwiches, polite, friendly staff. Will visit again.

Had tea and cake here earlier in the week so returned for lunch today. Chose pate, toast and salad and my husband had soup, both were very enjoyable no reasonably priced. Would recommend.

This cafe is a really unusual find. It's really small and at the back of a post office. The decor is old fashioned but the breakfast is really good value for money and very tasty. We both had a regular breakfast and it was really filling. The lady at the front of house was so happy and friendly, she even... More

When we got to the tea-rooms, we were the only people there and had a lovely chat with both ladies working there. Within a few minutes, the place was buzzing and everyone was sharing tables with other people and a lot of chat going on. The vibe was great! Food arrived pronto and was probably the best goat's cheese and... More

We stopped for lunch and there is a very adequate menu. The lamb and mint pudding was excellent. The tables are mainly circular to make easy sitting for a group. Staff were good

Visited with partner and, like a number of other reviewers, stood in the entrance like lemons while being stared at as if we'd just landed from another planet. No eye contact from proprietors, no welcome, no nothing. Turned around and left to spend our money elsewhere.

After rambling in the local area what better place to stop off for refreshment than the Beresford Tea Rooms. The place serves an excellent selection of beverages and accompanying selections of cakes and other light meals. The place is at the centre of the community and houses the local Post Office.

Called in for coffee and cake on our travels around the local area . Beautiful village with the small tea room in the middle . Although the shop was busy staff did not seem interested in being helpful ( smiling costs nothing ) food was ok and drinks were hot . Wouldn't rush back
