Great place to get authentic Indonesian food with traditional theme

The environment is nice, made me come here several times before with my family. The environment is cozy, clean and air-conditioned. Service was pretty decent. Staffs were very good and fast. They're professional and friendly. Serving Indonesian cuisine - it is so authentic Sundanese foods from West Java Indonesia. The food was delicious. I love the selection of sambal and ulam (vegetables & traditional spicy sauces) selection available as complimentary to patrons. It’s located at the station near the entrance. Price is affordable. Tax has been included in the menu price. Recommended for family outing and for people looking for Indonesian cuisine.

Good Indonesian food in Kajang

Good Indonesian food around Kajang area. A bit pricey compared to local Malay food but it has it's authenticity. Customer service was very good as they greeted and welcomed in a very Balinese manner (polite and humble). Not the best Indonesian food I have tried but it's the best in Kajang area.

Food was amazing. Service was kindda bad. Staff did not knw wht they served. Some even smell the drink to determine wht it was. So... disgusting... but overall i guess it was okay. Just tht one issue je.

Getting poorer over the years

This restaurant used to be one of the best Indonesian food restaurant in bangi or kajang, to me. Alot of selection of sambal, which are flavorful and spicy. Food are great, service great, and price ok although a bit in the expensive side. But I always thought its worth it. But over the years, the food are getting poorer in quality and quantity. There are less ingredient in the chicken rice set. Missing key items like petai and salad. The sambals not much choice anymore and not hot or spicy at all. Even by Malaysian standard. Used to be really spicy and good. What happened? Portion so little now, service so poor. Not coming here anymore. Bye bye.

Great restaurant

The meals are very delicious. There are a few type of sambals, range from mild spicy to very spicy, at the sambal counter to choose from, and there are FREE. The 'Jus Asam' is very nice and refreshing. The atmosphere feels like at Indonesia.

Go for the food - tasty, value for money - not the aesthetics

We tried this restaurant based on its high rating. It was full even for a late lunch. The wait wasn’t long thankfully and staff were efficient in cleaning up a table for the 6 of us and attending to our orders. Our waiter cheerfully advised us, there for the first time, on recommended choices. The dining experience felt quite chaotic from the hustle and bustle of the many waiters, and noise from fellow diners’ uncontrolled young children (the parents’ fault, not the restaurant). The food was very tasty! And the price - can’t beat it. Not a place for a romantic date though 😄

Love their food, the environment. Free and nice sambal is available in the restaurant. Never forget to order their pavlova for every visit, depends whether it's still available or not.

Been here several times with my family. Really love, if not all, almost all the menu that we have savoured there.. Truly, yummylicious, mouth-watering with the various types of sambal(mixed chilli-paste) to add to the flavor of the different types of rice-meals served. Yes,this will be one of the top choices in our option list of restaurants that we will go again, if we decide to eat out with the family.

I ordered Nasi Liwet Kastrol Ayam Kampung Bakar, pisang (banana) cheese & cendawan crispy. Tasted all the sambal (spicy sauce). I would say, the taste it was just average. Nothing fancy about it. Nevertheless, the crispy cendawan (mushroom) save the day. I would say the overall experience is nice but probably my expectation was set to high because of the food was prepared by Indonesian itself.
