My husband and three older teenagers took a trip up Grouse just to have a fantastic meal. As long as you let the ticket agent know at the bottom of Grouse, you will not have to pay for the Gondola up the mountain. That is a savings of about $50 per person. When you look at the price of the... More

Our final night in Vancouver was spent at The Observatory for dinner. The gondola ride up was special as we were able to take in the sunset and the view of the city. What a sight. We walked around the top and took in the winter activities which was a lot of fun. Top that off with a delicious dinner,... More

Excellent service and ambiance all around. Pricing not for the faint of heart, but at least a dinner reservation covers the cost of the gondola. We had the lamb and were not disappointed.

I held my 50th birthday party up here in December. We were given a private room with a fireplace and large windows looking out towards Vancouver. Although we couldn't see much through the snow packed trees and overcast skies... but we expected this for December in Vancouver. The staff was very attentive, food was great. The price is a bit... We took our uncle and cousin from Winnipeg to The Observatory for a night out of fine dining. They were blown away with the gondola ride up the mountain to start. Followed by a fantastic table by the window, overlooking Vancouver. It was the perfect night for all. The staff was very friendly and looked after every detail of our... More

What more could you ask for than great food and a billion dollar view from The Observatory Restaurant on top of Grouse Mountain. Fun to go up there on the tram all dressed up for dinner! Best experience you can have as a tourist or be a tourist in your own city!! Highly recommend this for fine dining.

The Observatory at Grouse Mountain offers a seasonal three course Christmas lunch with a fixed price menu that offers great value considering that it includes the skyride gondola lift. I went expecting fog & blowing snow, but was treated to a fantastic view of the harbour & city. The food, presentation, & service were worthy of the "fine dining" designation.... More

I had the fish taco and my so yummy... Love to visit again just to have more of this. Place is super loud even for lunch setting so if ur looking for quiet where you can talk... Not quite the fit for it. The staff were friendly and the service was great.

It was a crystal clear night, and a stunning view. The food was good... not amazing, nor ground-breaking, but good.
