Thought we would try a new sushi place and we weren't disappointed. It's a very small restaurant but clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and service was good. The food was good as well. This is a spot that you might miss if you drive by too fast. Make sure to drive slow so you don't miss it!

Attended for ramen with someone who had just returned from Tokyo, after living there the past eight years...thumbs down. Ramen broth very watery, devoid of any flavour. Gyoza and chicken karage poor examples of the "real things". Over all...would not return. Making the effort to Robson Street for some excellent other choices would be my choice.

I must say i'm very disappointed by the food they offer. I ordered california roll, takoyaki, seaweed salad and saki. Takoyaki is a must-have for me. It is completely different - no topping, not even rounded. Color is super dark. You wouldn't even recognize it is takoyaki if you see it! But it did amazed me (in a sarcastic way... More

I am obsessed with the North Shore roll. I give this 5 stars because you can't beat the lunch specials. Quantity and quality. They are happy to see me from year to year and always remember me....once with 14 months between visits - that is customer service. You can actually eat lunch and bring a meal worth home from the... I dropped by for lunch unexpectedly and was very impressed. My test items are a BC Roll, Tuna Shashimi and BC Roll. The salmon in the BC Roll was perfect; crispy skin and a little bit if salmon. Shashimi was firm and cold. BC Roll, while fairly predictable, was very good and had a generous amount of real crab. That... More

This is not a restaurant for sushi snobs, or snobs of any kind as it's a little rough and ready and desperately needs a renovation. BUT!!!!! the staff are amazing; the fish is fresh and plentiful -- no slivers of tuna here..huge chunks of fish to fill you up without a tonne of rice. This is a place we go... More

It isn't the fanciest place in the world, but you can't beat freshness or the price. Great lunch special with tons of options. Service is very fast and that atmosphere is very authentic

The food is fairly mainstream without any surprises. Nothing outstanding at all and very spotty service.
