My British husband took me here for the first time. We were greeted by an older British couple who are the cooks of this small quaint place hidden in Cornwall, Ontario. The hubby had cod fish and I had halibut. Everything was made to order! My daughter got a free slice of cheesecake for free!! Very cute couple they chatted... More

Best fish and chips outside of GB, like going back in time for this British transplant to Canada, count on staying longer than you think also, friendly locals and staff. Dont miss out on this if you are passing through Cornwall. Plus they have Walnut Whips, a piece of British heavenly

From the other reviews we thought this would be a good place to try while we were in Cornwall. We love Fish and Chips so all 3 of us headed there....It really is off the beaten path and does look like much when you see it from the outside but even with that we decided to go in anyways. I... More

Wow, my neighbour and her husband just told us about their fabulous supper they had at this restaurant. J had cod and G had halibut and the flavour was toothsome and the portions generous. Home made french fries and the onion rings were HUGE and not too salty. Service was quick and pleasant. The ambiance felt cozy and welcoming. J... More

Frequently visit this little spot, always great food and good size portions. Staff is always pleasant, and both service and quality are always consistent. A guaranteed solid 4 start choice every time.

This is an old fashioned family run English fish and chips shop that serves the BEST fish and chips. The fish is fresh, the batter light and crispy and the fries are home cut and delicious. The service is friendly and fast and portions are large. Highly recommended.

Here is a small restaurant on a side street that you would miss in a blink, but if you are looking for great fish'n chips, this is the place. There are no frills here, no fancy tables, no ambiance, just fish 'n chips!!! Haddock, halibut, plus shrimp, scallops, even pies to take home. There are also daily specials: today was... More

We ordered for delivery. The fish was okay but the thing that was gross was the fact that there was a black hair in the tartar sauce, we immediately stopped eating! Never again!!!

While travelling in Ontario from New Brunswick, I searched out a few fish and chip shops that I could stop at on the way. I can't get Halibut in the Maritimes. I stopped here on my way in and then again on my way out of Ontario. Both times the meal was excellent, not greasy at all, a very good... More

I never eat in as I like beer with my fish and chips. These guys have beer ads all over but no license. Anyway I order it to go home where there is beer. The food is always bang on. This is not sophisticated stuff. It is a big slab of deep fried fish with a big side of chips.... More
