We tried Tapas on the suggestion of a friend. We failed to make a reservation in advance but called minutes away from the restaurant. The gentleman who answered said their tables were all taken but that he had 4 seats at the bar if that would work for us. We said it would, not wanting to miss the chance to... More

It was our 35 Anniversary and we decided on Tapas as my wife has gluten free needs. Our waitress suggested three dishes each. We followed her advice and had the following in order. First off was the beet salad. Not a favourite of mine, it was as advertised but I thought a little flat. We next shared the portabello mushroom,... More

A charming little place, with live Spanish music on a Friday night. Went with the Plato Mixto to start, a selection of cheese and meat (including Elk). Gorgeous. Then moved on to chili gambas, a pear tapa (forget name) and a couple other tapas (they suggest 3 to 4 for a couple). All were unique and provided robust and different... More

Went for dinner on a Friday night here, loved that we could book online as it makes it so much easier when you're traveling and only have wifi not a local number to call. From start to end, our experience at Tapas was top notch. Our server was Amanda (fellow Aussie) who was very friendly and knowledgeable and even gave... More

Perfect place to spend a night catching up with friends you haven't seen for years. The small shared plates and the delicious Okanagan Pinots! Service, atmosphere, and food were all outstanding. Deserves a top rating.

We were eight for dinner during the recent Nordic ski championships. We had shared plates passed around the table - Lots of stuff to try out. Atmosphere was relaxed. Great way to spend an evening. Perhaps a little pricey but we had a memorable time.

We stopped in at Tapas on the fly and were surprised to be seated without a reservation. This was our first time into the restaurant and we gave it a try based on a recommendation and reviews. It's a small quaint place with lots of charm. There are Spanish themed murals on the walls, which are quite nice. We were... More

We returned to this restaurant for the third time over the years, hoping for delicious sangria and lamb lollipops. The lamb lollipops are no longer available, unfortunately, but the red sangria was nice! We did not have a reservation but they had a table for two upstairs. We ordered the avocado fries, spicy prawns, lobster tails with carrot hummus, lamb... More

Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $25 corkage fee as well.
